I'm a decor/ furniture loving and DIY enthusiast of note when it comes to my home. And I cant tell you how often men I barely know (a friends brother or boyfriend, a male client (I work out of a home office) has suggested I help them out with their doing up their place. I've repeatedly declined. It reaks of entitlement, they have no idea/ concept of the time and energy expended into making a house a home. I'll leave that labour to some other poor sod.

OMG lol a guy I was dating had his ex come over to clean up from time to time, and then they'd have dinner together. They were wholly incompatible and he told me before he fell in love with her for her beauty. Then he gaslighted me about all of it saying she is a dear friend (even though he always complained about her) and that it's a boundary for him to be able to keep close female friends.

He was an asshole to me, we CoMmuNiCAted constantly, then after we ended things he went on to cut off his ex and started dating a girl with a "clean slate". He admitted it too, he felt he fucked up too much w me and it got too complicated 🙃
