Lots of redpill guys see these women as damaged goods and also assume that they are looking for a meal ticket. Regardless of what’s actually going on, they treat all single moms like gold diggers

Remember that to redpillers, women are both the prize/reward and the enemy they have to compete against.

Anything that reminds the RP guy that a woman had sex with someone other than him deeply bothers him. A kid is a pretty obvious reminder. How dare she have sex with anyone? How dare she have freedom/no commitment from a boyfriend/husband?

So they stick to these revenge fantasies that say she's used up, doomed to failure, she is of low value, ect.

There's also zero room for nuance or understanding. Women are the enemy, so obviously the single mom did something wrong and she's a fuckup. Never mind that she could be doing her best despite lots of things outside her control.

Remember that RP's also cling to old social norms no matter how outdated, useless, or harmful they may be. Single moms go against the norm of what is acceptable for women to do with their lives.

If there's anything that my therapist has taught me, it's that people will rationalize anything to make themselves feel better. Redpillers will say all sorts of shit about single moms because deep down they are reminded of their own faults, insecurities, and how uncomfortable they are with anything or anyone that doesn't follow rules.

An even better question is what happens when an unsuccessful man gets together with a single mother. That really throws them in a loop. WHAT?! HE'S NOT PROVIDING FOR HER CHILDREN WITH MORE THAN SHE CAN DO SO?! IMPOSSIBLE!!!!

I suppose they think it's an abomination because that see it as a societal bad sign. That if enough men are willing to "pick up the pieces", then more women will be likely to divorce their children's biological dads.

The main issue is the use of statistics without statistical analysis. Why are the divorce rates high? But also why have they gone down 10% from 2015 to 2020? There's some fresh data for you. Yup, apparently covid didn't even accelerate divorce rates.

Because red pill is based on controlling women, which is rooted in conservative views on what the family should be, which more or less comes down to marry someone, have some kids and stick with your partner for life.

Not much space for leaving bad marriages, not much space for the death of a partner, not much space for "accidents" that lead to unwanted pregnancies.

But no one ever said they were understanding...

Dude I had men get mad cause my husband married me. And I have no kids, lost my virginity to the man I married(wasn't an active choice it just so happens the first man I slept with was the man for me shrug also helps that I fucking hate dating), put myself through school and basically did "everything right" and dudes still acted bitter and projected their failed marriages on me/us. They'd circle around me and ask me dumb ass questions like

"Why you females don't let your man hang with his boys!?"

Or

"Why you femalez always tryna trap a man with marriage and kids"

Or my personal favorite,

"You females stay wanting attention attention attention you can't let your husband's breath after work! MGTOW all day rawwrrrr!"

And I'm sitting there dumb founded and somewhat entertained because, smirks:

My husband hangs out with his friends no problem. Hell I like having the house to myself sometimes I can do the stupid shit I do without him teasing me lol.
When my husband met me I made it VERY clear children was out of the question. And marriage was something that scared the fuck out of me. Only reason I changed my mind about marriage was because of eight years of convincing on my husband's part and me not wanting my shitty family to get my benefits if suddenly died. He's the only person I trust who would respect my final wishes compared to my religious family. Children are still a no go though. I like the idea of it being us taking this adventure together, seeing the world, touching the loves of people already here etc.

And 3. Dude that's the women you chose. One of things I appreciate about my marriage is he and I are separate people. We both understand that we get over stimulated by work, people and general shit so quiet is mandatory (part of the reason we don't want kids). We are in tune to each other need for peace and quiet. Yeah we talk to each other and hang out but generally speaking we respect each other's need for silence.

It just seems apparent to me that many of these dudes project their failures on other people. Just cause their exes screwed them now it's all women. Just cause they couldn't make it work then every man is doomed cause they're so special that if it can't work for them then can't work anywhere. It's really annoying because I hate being held accountable for someone else's fuck ups. Part of the reason I didn't reenlist. I grew tired of the emotional BS disguised, insidiously, as masculinity.

I went through this constantly during my time in the Army. Most of the men had failing marriages and for god knows why, they'd open up to me about it despite my trying to keep to myself and do my freaking job. What's crazy was these dudes were cheating left and right and managed to be angry when the wives left them. They purposely left certain details out to look innocent but things never added up. Now don't get me wrong many of them were married to asshole women and they didn't actively seek those types of women out they just got screwed. Shit happens, man. And in other cases they do seek those women out because she appealed to them superficially. But all in all the problem is they project their failures on others.

Do you know how frustrating it is to be out in the heat trying to do your strenuous job(I was a welder for the army) to have a random fool bark,

"Let me ask you something, why you feeeemaaaallllezzzzzz..."

Dude, it's 90 degrees, welding is a hot and sweaty job, I'm tired, this uniform is sticky and icky and the commander is chewing out my team over dumb shit. I do not care about your marital issues right now nor am I responsible for them.

Compassion fatigue is real.

Current redpiller here: we truly don't care, except for a very vocal minority if us who get upset by everyone and everything.

If someone wants to do marry a single mom, we might say it's unwise for a number or reasons, but the choice is theirs to make.

Edit: once again, nobody has anything meaningful to respond with, just down vote the red piller cause he's committed wrong think.

It could stem from lingering beliefs from the single-motherhood moral panic of the early 90s, typified by the Murphy Brown controversy.

Many people of a more traditionalist bent have an aversion to anything besides the stereotypical white-picket-fence 1950s ideal of a working dad, a stay-at-home mom, 2.5 kids, and a dog. They can't seem to understand that many single mothers were widowed, or were rape victims, or left abusive partners, or are highly successful career women who can afford it, or are single for many other scenarios that don't involve irresponsibility.

Why? Because it fractures their belief system with a physical example of the opposite to their belief system. It's based within a religious-like structure, that kind of thinking is myopic in of itself and leads people to a type of tribalism that if no one else follows, they must be demonised.

The ideology ignores individual circumstance and the complexities of life. They want to view themselves as successful men and seeing a figure they demonise as getting benefited, it fractures their belief system...

Lets say, what if this woman also has a child with the new man? Is that also hypergamy, did she "win"? Does the man lose, is he just a Beta Bux? Infinitely more complex than that... All sorts of mental gymnastics and logical fallacy/biases can be used to muster up reasons for the ideology. As an example, "She is only doing it to keep him on a leash, tie him to her."

As if "most women" are calculating creatures in that way. Lets not forget, that women are the female of the human species. This nullifies the assumption but it doesn't mean it shouldn't be subject to questioning, there are so many other explanations but I won't touch on it.

Essentially, it is deluded.

An example of individual circumstance would be your example of the 19 year old dude who was rejected or cheated on, yeah that's proof of individual circumstance and how it should be treated as such. People make mistakes, we are still animals and behave in ways without fully understanding - it comes from the depths of our brain and we have a choice as to whether we consult with it or not. This ties into the confirmation bias that people who subscribe to RP employ, their past experience is now validated by RP principles. It explains their suffering in an easily digestible manner, not that life is full of randomness and we evolved to contend with that random and tragic element of life.

This rant is a bit slanted but I hope it makes enough sense.
