I used to subscribe to the black pill theory that looks were everything. It wasn't until I got older that I realized that for men looks is only a fraction of what creates attraction.

Allow me a short humble brag. I've always been decent looking, 6'1", lifted weights since I was 16. I was always half decent with girls. It wasn't until around 25 though that my notch count exploded. This is because within a very short time period (6 months) I acquired a good career, very nice car, and my own place.

This drastic increase in my success with women showed me that although lifting and looksmaxing are very important to attraction, financial security and status are almost equally as important.

Edit: It's like Rollo says in regards to looks, status, and game. If you have one you'll do alright but if you have all three you'll be fucking laughing.

Yes. It's pretty boys that are mostly popular on the app so more and more average girls (0-7) will be exposed to that level of attractiveness online and will also be looking for it in the real world. They will get 'likes' and comment replies from them and think that it can be transferred to the real world until they try to chat up a similar looking pretty dude and realize that they're just a fan, and similar pretty looking guys wouldn't want anything to do with them.

That's where the phrase the 80/20 will become the 90/10 or 95/5 which means that 95% of all women will want to date men in the top 5% in looks. So yes, at first glance it will look like there's no hope for guys in the 0-95% looks but you're wrong. After most of the 95% girls get rejected by the 5% guys which demographic will they be looking at to find a dude to chill with? Yup, the 0-95% guys and that's where you come in but you still have to differentiate yourself because they won't be looking for looks as before. It's the reason why everyone here will tell you lift and get on your purpose which will easily make you stand out in the 0-95% guys.

It's a zero-sum game. Humanity's innate animal nature always takes advantage of any new technology that can facilitate a primary function, in this case, hypergamy. FB then IG now Tiktok is amplifying female hypergamy by giving them a stage with extremely low barriers of entry and effort to advertise to the top 0.01% of men - or at least to filter for them. It's just an easier way for a modern woman to show off her analogous swollen baboon ass. We are slipping back to the stone age where only a few men would be coveted by all women. I mean, yes. Personally I apparently ‘look like a tiktok boy’ and am young myself so I’m not too worried. Just grow your hair out, get a tan and get in good shape. These kids are just looksmaxxed and have decent jawlines, that’s about it for most of them, and it’s enough for most girls to be all over you. Take advantage of the current ‘type’ don’t moan about it. Even if you can’t or don’t have that pretty boy look, you’ll be fine in the real world if you’re looksmaxxed and lifting.

Lol one mistake a lot of people make is confusing online with real life.

If we took how women act online and assumed thats how they always were then you would think women only ever fuck 6 figure making, birkin bag buying, 6 pack having Chads with looks that stop women dead in their tracks.

In reality however we know that for MOST women most of the guys they end up fucking are actually fairly low value men but who displayed at least one alpha trait which at the time made him relatively high value enough for her to spread her legs.

You have to remember online isn't reality. Online, even fat and ugly girls have flooded inboxes, but in reality no one gives them any attention or the guys they do get are total losers.

Focus on actually being high value in real life and you will be fine.
