Of course we don't peak at 50. That's just delusional. I'm 56 and have been aging fairly decently. However, that doesn't mean I wasn't way hotter at 30 -- or hotter still at 19.

50 year old men are not the most attractive on the dating market. Online dating among their older peers, maybe. Men die earlier, so there's a shortage of older, available men.

OLD-data from 2010 is.. well, old. It's OkCupid-data from before Tinder-style swiping broke through, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the users were old too.

I think women peak around 18 - 29 and men peak around 25 - 35. It’s. Hard to put an exact number on the peak because obviously everyone is different, but in my experience this is how the time frames of the different peak window for men and women appears to me.

I heard that stat before, but I don't agree with it. Sure, men at age 50 have a lot more money. Still, with modern online dating, physical attractiveness plays a big role, and most men at age 50 are well past their peak physically. I think with online dating, men peak in success in their 30s.

Men die earlier than women, coupled with the skew for older couples to have more age gaps in the first place and ta da! Old women outnumber old men by quite a bit.

50yo men have like a 40-60yo range and a lot of single women, many of them had been dependant on their late husbands and need that husband role.
