I went on a golf date with a guy I told I was new to golfing. He never asked me if I owned my own clubs or not when he made our reservations. It was hard for me to follow FDS and not tell him that I needed club rentals. But I watched how he handled it when I got there. After a wonderful date, he future faked me, played some unusually smart mind games, and basically that one date was the entire love bomb he was willing to put into dating.

I wish I hadn’t gone. Because then I had to go through his mind games and recover… So, if you can find out that the place is closed, so can he. And if he can’t be bothered, don’t do any emotional labor more than what you’re doing right now. 💪💪

Don't go and drop him. Scant details here but last minute and he didn't confirm? Also why are you the one checking in with the restaurant? He should be planning and wooing you. Reread the handbook, get back to vetting ruthlessly.
