I haven't joined a dating app, so I've never been asked on a walk date, but if I would I'd probably say something like "No that's too intimate for a first date, I want to take it slower."

If he asks what I mean I'd say something like, "Well, going hiking on the nice trails is a few hours drive from the city. You're asking someone you just met to spend several hours alone with you where I can't reach anyone else. That puts me in a very vulnerable position and what you're asking requires way more trust than what I should give you."

And then when he inevitably counters with "No I meant in the city." I'd respond with, "so like, a walk on the street?"

And then block.
