FDS post

Hello everybody. English is not my first language, so I will try to express myself as best as possible:

I've been dating my boyfriend for 6 years. (In my culture (Spain) marriage is not a big thing). Anyway we think about getting married soon. I'm 28, he is 32.

I depend on him financially (for the last 10 years I have suffered major depression that has prevented me from working or studying...), although right now I am studying to change my life situation.

My boyfriend earns quite well for the salaries of my country, he has no problem supporting me financially; even so I feel that something is wrong.

I will explain myself better: I feel that he has the power in the relationship, I always try to make his life as easy as possible, I make him food, I try to save as much as possible (although he has no problems managing his finances), I usually take care of cleaning the house. (He also takes care of the house, but it is 30% versus 70%, and since I am not working I feel that it is the most fair distribution of duties)

He always thanks me for it, and tells me I don't have to. Even so, I like to help. Besides I'm also living "for free" in his house. And that's the thing, it's HIS house, it's never going to be OUR house. Is it wrong that I feel the need that I wish the house belonged to both of us?.

In addition, I am always the one who usually gives in on "almost" everything. I am more flexible than him to adapt to things. I never usually complain.

I recently told him that I wanted to adopt a dog, and his response was that if I brought the dog at home I had to leave the house. This has hurt me deeply.

Thanks!💕
