Seems like everyone is so invested in the mindset of getting a great job that they actually tie there self worth to there ability to get some mind enslaving corporate job.

To be completely honest, I’ve always been lazy when it comes to “work”, not because I’m incapable because I’m very much am capable of going that route, but I just see it as probably one of the biggest sinks for your time and soul.

As a single guy I could easily get by on just $30k a year while having a good amount of savings.

These days I’ve been going to school for IT and plan on getting a chill job there making somewhere from 40-60k which will be so much more money than I honestly need as a single guy. My real goal is to become a real free agent and have my own self relying business (preferably an online one that allows me to be mobile) and use my time on actual meaningful pursuits.

Crazy thing is that a lot of my peers and family view me as “lazy” or not “motivated” since I don’t share there enthusiasm when it comes to the topic of future slaving as if I should be honored to have the chance to slave for modern America.

I woke up in the wrong world.
