I’ve had people go through my comment history and call me an incel who has dating problems because I comment here and 30’s dating.

I’ve been in a relationship for years, which followed on from a brief stint dating and another relationship that was for years.

The sub I had commented on and the topic wasn’t anything related to feminism relationships or dating.

I think it’s now a standard thing in reddit.

Its not just feminists, people in general tend to do that when they dont have an argument to back up their claim, they resort to insults or ridicule. Pay no mind to it.

It's because it's low hanging fruit. It's just an easy go to. They don't believe you're an incel they just say it to either discredit you or just get under your skin.

Its why the immediate go to attack is to say something about a man's weiner.

Man: Sharon, can you please do your part of this project?

Sharon: You're just mad because you have a little dick.

Man: What does my weiner have to to do with you not doing your job?

You know feminists are. They find one good sounding word and repeat it over and over again. Kind of the like the "one joke" they complain about. For them. First it was "fragile", now it's "incel". They liked the way it sounded, and just used that as their argument. Even though there is no correlation between wanting equal rights and celibacy. Otherwise, wouldn't feminists also supposedly be incels? I mean, they don't want equality that much is obvious, but if they say they do does that also make them incels?

They aren’t discussing in good faith. That’s the first thing you need to come to terms with. They are fighting by any means necessary to maintain perception. Their message and entire existence goes out the window when people understand that their facts are lacking so they never argue on that side. They only try to shame you and get everyone else around you in the same shame train against you.

You need to fight back against that, not just let it pass. Point out what she's doing. Say to her: "Stop avoiding my question. Stop calling me names just because you have no real answer. Stop hiding. Answer my question." Keep saying it till she engages in the conversation, or walks away.

To anyone listening, you'll automatically be winning, against someone just trying to insult you.

Ad hominems are easier than addressing the argument. Most everyone does it, including MRAs at times. Just be careful to not fall into the trap yourself and be willing to call it out whenever you see it, ESPECIALLY amongst your own. It helps strengthen us to weed out reliance on fallacies.

It's because they dont have the maturity to actually have a debate so they resort to name calling.

Not only that but a lot of them cant think for themselves if their life dependent on it, so pointing that out by posing questions they cant answer makes them feel insecure.

This is what happens when they can't win an argument. When the facts don't back up their claim, they will begin to cuss and scream and call as many bad names as they can think of. They hate facts. I am 62 years old and married for 44 years, and they call me Incel.

I have a long term girlfriend, a decent job, I lift weights, work in IT, play guitar and have other hobbies outside of that that aren’t just video games. I try to strive for egalitarianism and am pro-LGBT. Im the most normal average dude in the world. I make one argument against feminism or the LGBT community and I’m a bigot racist incel etc. Sometimes you just gotta accept it’s not worth it and keep doing your thing.

It's called logical fallacy - basically an invalid way to make an argument, this specific type is called "ad hominem" and is about attacking the person making the argument instead of logically reasoning.

If someone uses a logical fallacy in a discussion, you remind them to use correct arguments, if they do you continue, if they don't, the discussion ends there...

It's not only feminists that use logical fallacies to push their narratives, other examples include Nazis, commies, religious fanatics, the list goes on.

Oh yes, women like to point out how messed up the sex culture is with men, and then openly mock young men for having not had sex. Wonder why they're feeling pressure. Maybe it's because the entire world wants to make them think they are less of a man if they haven't had sex yet while also shaming them for wanting to have sex. You can't win.

Imagine a bunch of victims replying from countries like iran or worse. They're not replying for a discussion. They're venting.

I see a lot of that on this sub too. Male victims of abuse do the same. Research even shows that men are even more hateful after abuse. Which has all kinds of causes and doesn't support the men are worse than women argument.

Anyway, it's human to do so. Just stay calm and respectful, even if they call you names.
