To answer your question of why I think women are much better victims. There is a minority of psychos on both sides of this arguement. But the feminist groups are much better at gaining sympathy from the masses. In order for this to work I think we need to be above the victim narrative and focus on positive change for all. We have a much harder battle ahead than the women’s groups because of the victim narrative they have created. Stay strong don’t become hateful.

How anyone can believe that this is alright, is beyond my thinking. An abuse report shouldn't require a female victim in order to be taken seriously, or checked out. I think it's pretty obvious who the nut jobs are in this. What scares the hell out of me is that they are the ones with all the power. I wish that equality was still the desired objective. To all the Men who read my comment, there are a lot of Women who believe in Men's Right's. We just don't have the platforms. I still speak my mind, but just as your voices are silenced so are ours. Well a lot of Men's Rights Activists actually act like feminists and can be quite hostile. And while it's often understandable, it's very bad PR and people do not want to be associated with it. I'm one of them actually. I want men's rights but do not want the baggage of the MRA.

This should be a wakeup call for some people here.

The MR movement often looks like straight up misogyny and bigotry to a lot of people. There is a major PR problem where MRAs are seen as gamer gaters, red pillers, incels etc. And as such, well-meaning people don't want to be associated with it.

Personally the type of content I see that bothers me is that MR is put in opposition to feminism. When really there's no reason we can't coexist and no reason we can't work together.

I'm not sure there's much use in squabbling each other over it. It could be a tactical move. I've used that before.

I'm not one to back down from a fight or use whatever breath left in my body to fight injustice, but I also know when to make use of a backward pass to set up for a better scoring position. If this guy went in waving his flags, no one would have listened to anything he said. At least now he has an audience. At least now that thread of injustice is being known.

I feel like most of the people in this sub don't get this. The behaviour the police officers were exhibiting was toxic masculinity. They didn't show up to the house because they thought "He's a man, he should be able to handle his wife.". This kind of thinking is promoted in feminism but you all seem to interpret it as "masculinity is bad" or something. Toxic masculinity is also the reason women are more often heard when it comes to rape cases, and why men are more often convicted. Feminists aren't against you, but you sure seem to be against feminists.
