A woman attacked me and stabbed in the arm and neck. The next day, a female neighbor (verbally) attacked me for defending myself.

Funny how that is. I’m a full time single dad.

My kids are covered by state insurance that my ex is supposed to cover in the child support she doesn’t pay. Now here comes the fun part.

The income differences between men and women in order to also be covered as a single parent are VASTLY different. If I make $400/mo I can’t get coverage. Women get their yearly physical, plus any family planning stuff covered 100%. No copay.

[–]thegardenGNR[S] 240 points241 points242 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

its blatant discrimination, and even hurts children. you should make a post.

[–][deleted] 121 points122 points123 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is and it does. It’s absolutely mind boggling, to boot.

There is definitely systemic sexism, but ironically not what the main stream believes

[+]T_1246 -16 points-15 points-14 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

This is a bullshit post, men get free annual physicals as part of the ACA. Woman get it to, the only difference is there version includes and obgyn visit to get screened for cervical cancer.

Bullshit post, next time do a smidgen of googling before you spout off.

[–]thegardenGNR[S] 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

im getting this directly from the .gov link

[–]enjoycarrots 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And you're completely failing to understand what you are reading. Women get women's health screenings -- that is, for their vaginas. This is not the same as a general annual physical. If there was a male equivalent to an OBGYN you'd see mens health screenings specifically covered as well. In fact, preventative screenings for men ARE covered, but those things mostly occur as part of more general preventative care with their GP -- you know, in their annual physicals, which are free under the ACA.

To repeat: Men get free physicals and free preventative care under the ACA. The only reason you see specific things covered for women and not for men is that women have a specialized field of care necessitated by their anatomy that tends to involve visits to a specialist, not included in the physical with their GP.

[–]T_1246 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The link says what I said. Jesus lol, go to a doctor for your annual physical. If your asked to pay you’ve either got a doctor commuting fraud or you’ve got an insurance plan that’s illegal in all 50 states.

There is no debating this issue, I was a senior admin for one of the largest hospitals in my state. Please believe me when I say I understand how payor contracting works.

[–]enjoycarrots 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Thanks for pushing back on the bullshit. I'm glad to see some people doing that in this comment section.

[–]T_1246 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Make no mistake I absolutely believe that men’s health issues are neglected and underfunded but this is not one of those areas. This is a retarded post and OP hasn’t the slightest clue about what he’s talking about.

For fucks sake colon cancer screenings are covered for free once men are in the at risk category (judged by age) but if you have a history of it in your family they do it from your mid 20’s onwards for free.

[–]redrobot5050 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Love how this post is downvoted to hell but Is 100% right. I’ve had all my post 2011 physicals paid for by insurance with no charge to myself — as mandated by Obamacare.

But they want to bitch and moan and hate women here. Look, /r/Mensrights subscribers, I’m sure a doctor would happy to check your cervix for warts. Just ask them.

[–]Dr_Papernipples -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lmao, “hate women” are you apart of the feminist movement or somethin? Cause we don’t do anything that you can say is true woman hatred.

[–]Dr_Papernipples -5 points-4 points-3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Looks like someone should’ve done that googling for themselves

[–]T_1246 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Please tell me how exactly I’m wrong. Are men not getting free annual physicals mid do you also want to get your Pap smear?

[–]Dr_Papernipples -4 points-3 points-2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Someone sure is awfully defensive and angry.

[–]T_1246 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Someone sure is trying to distract from the fact that they are wrong.

[–]Dr_Papernipples 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Am I? Please show me where I said any factual statement that could be deemed as wrong? I didn’t even call you wrong but here you are getting all defensive. Lmao

[–]LordFantastic 36 points37 points38 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Single father here with kids. It's bullshit and I agree. The way Medicare is set up, I can't work more than 2 days a week or my kids lose their health insurance. It has forced me to only work under the table. When you work under the table it's hard to progress your life as a productive citizen because it starts to become a lifestyle. Also can't get no type of assistance in daycare but woman can.

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yeah daycare would have been $45/day here for me (that’s the discounted rate) and that was roughly 2/3 of my paycheck.

[–]LordFantastic 17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Funny because social services told me there's no daycare programs for men when I asked. Also when I was homeless with two kids best believe there was no shelters for men with kids only women with kids. (I'm a piece of s*** because I'm a man and homeless with kids but it's okay for women to do it) So I ended up sleeping on a f****** bus bench with my kids Like some pursuit of happiness s*** except my life never got better. My daughter's lives are amazing though. I just have to keep sacrificing my life and well being for them but I shouldn't have to. If anything ever happens to my kids I've always told people that I'm taking out the judicial system and I mean it.

[–]IntellectualKittens 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

This story you told has gotten me to doubly make sure I don't have any kids in the future. I'm in my late 40's. Marriage? That will always be a no.

[–]LordFantastic 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It's so bad even the lady im with currently tells me marriage isn't fair. What people forget is marriage is a contract so women don't get left hanging. The difference is nowadays most women are the main providers or at the very least helping with half of the expenses. Men are literally being forgotten in generations. As a man I can tell you straight up that the suicide rate in men will spike in the next 5 years from this political correctness culture that has infested America. In 10 years, trying to find a well-off man is going to be like trying to find a Galapagos in the Caribou islands. You're either born into it or you're nothing. I've done stuff I'm not proud of like whoring myself out to a 60-year-old lady just so my kids can stay at a place. One of the kids may I add, which was conceived through me being raped and drugged. Life's not fair, and not only is it not fair, I get told that I'm on top of the totem pole and shouldn't be bitching about nothing and that I have everything.

[–]IntellectualKittens 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

suicide rate and men will spike in the next 5 years from this political correctness culture that has infested America.

Yup, it's complete bullshit. I think we're starting to see the demand for evidence for these Pound MeToo incidents, but it's rare. Men are still oppressed and repressed. Women have it easy... but their feminist websites will tell them otherwise.

[–]LordFantastic 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes and I feel like if anybody has the right to be mad it is me. I am willing to forget and forgive my 20 years of hardship just for equality. I don't want to make the same mistake third wave feminist made. I'm not asking for any woman's rights to be taken away, I'm only asking for the same rights. Men and women are truly now equal but women get all the financial and emotional support. I don't want a generation of men walking away from the third wave generation s*** hating women. I just want equality.

[–]Luchadorgreen 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Wait, you don’t qualify for daycare assistance because you’re male? What program do women get it through?

[–]LordFantastic 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Could be the social services building just didnt want to help me. but when I was homeless trying to get benefits through Charlottesville they straight up told me there are no benefit or daycare programs for men with children. They have the Georgia home for women with kids but no building for men with kids. I legit slept outside of the Georgia home in the woods so my kids could stay with the lady that was living there. I legit slept next to the train tracks just so my kids could stay in that building with the lady that falsified the documents to say she was their mom. I'm just tired of life not being fair and everybody telling me to suck it up everyday. Makes you go insane from getting gaslit.

[–]Mackdude15 6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Are you sure about that? Which state are you from? From what I understood the only difference in eligibility standards for men and women are only supposed to be if the woman is pregnant

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points17 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Oklahoma. And there’s supposed to be equal treatment on a lot of things, but the things I’ve been told to my face from people in power here leave a bad taste in my mouth.

[–]LordFantastic 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Virginia here and I agree. I'm supposed to be a blue state so where's the help?

[–]lynkthe9 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly, it’s a blue state so there’s no help for men

[–]Mackdude15 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Have you applied for insurance through a state agency or your countys welfare department? (Not sure how it works in Oklahoma)

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yes. Have been denied coverage because of being on unemployment before, have been kicked off because a company sent me a forgotten back pay check, and have been denied every year as long as I’ve had a job.

[–]Mackdude15 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That sucks. If you qualify you should definitely appeal your case. If I were you I would even ask the front desk to see a male case worker (I work for my countys family services department and often get assigned male clients who insist on seeing a man. Not always easy/possible when all these government agencies are overwhelmingly female). Biases should never happen when determining clients' entitlement to services, but they do.

[–]McFeely_Smackup 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's interesting that they're so dedicated to not helping men, that they'll screw over children in the process.

It's like they're saying " well, in order to help these kids, some men would get aid... It's really too bad about those kids"

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It’s because they don’t really care about the children.

[–]DanteLivra 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Sharing your story is the best way to open the eyes of other people.

[–]Marty-the-monkey -3 points-2 points-1 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thank the Republican Party.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I thank the blues, actually, as it was the Democrats in my state that pushed all these healthcare reforms to protect single mothers.

And it was a Democrat district attorney (and a woman) that said she refused to charge my ex wife with attempted murder, despite a confession “because she’s a young mother” and instead let her have a year probation.

It was also definitely the Democrats that fought against victims rights in the state of Oklahoma, which prevented me from being able to face my ex wife in court when I was the victim.

No, no, I thank the republicans, but not for fighting me trying to provide a better life for my children.

[–]Marty-the-monkey 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It was through the amendments and changes to the ACA that it ended up being only women allowed these parts.

[–]JavynTheUnique1 -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Get those downvotes. You deserve them

[+]freckles2363 -10 points-9 points-8 points 5 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

I mean, kinda makes sense about the family planning. Preventing kids is cheaper for an insurance company.

Everythingelse should be the same though.

[–]Whanny 101 points102 points103 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Gotta widen that health gap so it is 77 years to the 100.

[–]0mnica 174 points175 points176 points 5 years ago* (20 children) | Copy Link

Say you're a trans women. Free physical, if they dispute, lawsuit.

Edit: grammer corrected thanks to the dick u/mredinlaw

[–]mhandanna 66 points67 points68 points 5 years ago* (8 children) | Copy Link

This really is the way to go for this and many issues.

Its good because it will drive feminsits crazy as most are pro trans (but to varying degrees) but of course there are TERF feminists and some civil war among feminstis about these issues. The pro trans will be scared of saying anything against men doing this, but at the same time some will, driving all sorts of conflict amongst them. Many feminsits are really worried about trans men taking female scholarships or like that Kardashian trans man who won woman of the year.... trans issues are really going to harm feminist privelge when quotas go to trans women.... however, femnists wont know how to react to this, with fear of being called bigots... and you can easily shut them down with their own arguements... check your privelege.... this is also why feminsits are so butthurt about Karen meme. Identity politics and their gender used against them to shut them down, much like masplaining etc which they arent used to.

It also feeds into the neo marxist opressed-opressor model which feminism operates on. Trans are far more opressed than women (or men), so there heads are really going to scratch as they dont know how to respond to this. For example, white feminism is getting a lot of flack at the moment within feminism.... these are identity politics people gone mad, they are constantly at war with eachother about who is most opressed.... this may sound crazy to a normal person, but in feminism and these related movements, opression is currency and it is good to be as opressed as possible

Chrsitina Hoff sommers talks about attending a intersectional feminst event that basically broke apart as they couldnt agree who is more opressed. The groups got weird, feminsits with allergies are opressed, OK you are interarcial couple, but my race is more discriminated agisnt etc etc

An interesting thing is happening in feminsits circles now with the whole BLM thing is where white women and white feminists are really being criticised by other feminists and white women are being pushed down the opression olympics pole and black trans men up. We may get to a point where the most opressed person is black trans men. No feminsits are really split on this. Many are taking this quite well, and shame shame shame whao men for while others are not liking not being the opressed victim.

Someone asked what a TERF was: Trans exclusionary radical feminsits.... many liberal femnists dont consider them feminsits, and TERFs dont consider liberal feminsits as feminsits and think liberal feminists are members of the patriachy and encforce it LMAO!! Ahhh opression olympics

TERFS are officially banned from feminsits reddit too. And then Gendercritical etc bans libfems too

Its hialrous TERFs think normal feminists have internalised misogyny

[–]Interceptor21 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

What the hell are "TERFs"?

[–]HakBakOfficial 20 points21 points22 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Trans Exclusionary Radical ‘feminists’ AKA people who don’t want women defined by their biology but only define a woman a woman for her biology

[–]HeroWither123546 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That is the most PERFECT description of TERFs!

[–]HakBakOfficial 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As a trans woman I learn about them on a daily basis, I’m experienced in the ways of those dickheads, they like making up their own oppression then blame trans people, it’s fun having people constantly finding a way to make your existence an annoyance

[–]mhandanna 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Trans exclusionary radical feminsits.... many liberal femnists dont consider them feminsits, and TERFs dont consider liberal feminsits as feminsits and think liberal feminists are members of the patriachy and encforce it LMAO!! Ahhh opression olympics

[–]KingKnotts 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Most feminists you meet in life are TERFs at least to some degree. At the end of the day the vast majority of people do not think trans people are the sex they identify as, they think you are a dick if you do not call them their preferred pronoun because it creates unnecessary conflict. They are not going to pretend giving birth is something men can do.

This is similar to the LGBT view on basically every sexuality but their own. They do share some issues, however they are not all for the same reasons.

TERFs acknowledge they share some concerns with trans people, however they acknowledge the concerns of women and the concerns of trans people are not for the same reason. Pretending that m2f trans people and biological females have the same issues for the same reasons is dishonest.

Trans people are concerned about issues because they are trans. Women are concerned about issues because they are women.

[–]mhandanna 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes they are TERFs to varying degrees but it is a very difficult subject for them as the hostility that MRAs get and bullshit like check your privelge, and you racist, sexist, nazi suddenly gets thrown to them... countless feminsits share real concerns about trans but a vocal minority call them out as bigots.... they basically get what MRAs get, raise a mens issue and you get all sorts of names and labels.

Feminsts have the same thing with race. They will bang on about how violent men are and are arrested more, and yeah men get killed more by police as they commit more crimes.... however as the narrative has been about race, they absolutely cannot say anything about black men or be shunned.

Opression olympics is canibalising. Feminism is going through a bit of a change now too, as white women and white feminsits are being harshly criticised in feminsits circles. It is entirely possible that black trans men will be a the top of the opression olympics and women pushed towards the bottom... feminsits are having conlficing views about this, some are all for this, but many are against it, and realy dislike the sterotypes and group blame etc about white women that are being thrown at them despite them doing the exact same thing to men

[–]Pwner_Guy 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's how a guy in Alberta lowered his insurance rates. Claimed he was a woman since it's legal and fairly easy to do.

[–]Mackdude15 8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Watch how quick they'll change the terminology to "people with vaginas"

[–]0mnica 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That would be transphobic, can't do that.

[–]Mackdude15 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How is it transphobic? It's trans people who have advocated to have the terminology changed to "people with penises/vaginas" that way they don't feel unfairly pigeonholed and mislabeled. OBGYNs now serve people with vaginas, people who menstruate, and my favorite, peole who gestate. The landscape of Healthcare has changed in order to support PC values. I guess its a double edged sword

[–]enjoycarrots 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"people with vaginas"

This would actually be appropriate in this case because most of the things afforded to women and not men are on the basis of their anatomy and not their gender identity. Unless you're a man who wants to go in for a mammogram and a pap test?

[–]MrEdinLaw 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Hey my mate. In this case you should use you're instead of your. Just a heads up

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

as to your edit, not sure if they do it differently in other areas, but pretty sure it's spelled grammar

[–]DemonB7R 41 points42 points43 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

As someone who works for an insurance company this is a bit misleading. A well woman exam is an annual visit with an OB/GYN for a check up and usually a pap smear as well. An annual "physical" is a check up with a primary care doctor (think General practice, Internal medicine, pediatrician, family practice). Different actions are taken by the respective providers, and claims are billed to us with different diagnosis codes so as to differentiate the two.

If billed properly, and performed at the proper intervals, per the plan benefits , both must be covered at 100% per Obama are (though most plans prior to obamacare were doing this)

[–]khoabear 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Imagine if men's rights advocate for universal healthcare, instead of demanding to take away healthcare from women

[–]thegardenGNR[S] 22 points23 points24 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

and this was definitely ACA?

Apparently it depends a bit, so it's definitely worse than for women, but not as bad. These insurance things are always bullshit anyways.

My insurance covers cancer screening but only when I'm 55. My father died of cancer at 50.

Then women get some things at 25 while men get it at 39, and others men get at 20 and women get at 30. Of course there's probably statistics and what not, but that means that if you're not "average" then you're fucked by your insurance.

Here's the actual link that says what's covered. https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-adults/

[–]KingKnotts 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

For what it is worth you can almost certainly get a cancer screening covered before your age insurance requires if you are at high risk and have a doctor saying it is necessary.

That said you would likely only be covered for the type of cancer he had.

[–]TheLemming 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yeah I believe so. She mentioned it explicitly, but I also don't know where else the rule would have come from

[–]enjoycarrots 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're discovering that the headline is false.

[–]karmacannibal 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your post title is just wrong.

Delete it before you convince any men to skip out on a physical because you misled them into thinking it wasn't covered.

[–]HotRocksMustache 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Me too. I (M) have had free wellness checks every year...

[–]imsadasfuckrn 7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well this is extremely misleading. Was that intentional? Or did you just post on assumption without doing any research?

[–]karmacannibal 13 points14 points15 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The post title is wrong. An annual physical is 100% covered for men as well.

Well woman exams are not covered for men because they do not have female genitalia to examine.

Prostate cancer screening is also not covered for women, as they do not have prostates.

What a stupid post.

I like this sub but this just isn't true. I know first hand too

Consider pinning a post stating that men do get free annual physicals and that this post was wrong.

A lot of people already scared because of covid may put off or cancel their doctor's visits if they think they're not covered.

Is it not in the US where healt organisations dedicated to women is well over 3000, while it's a handful for men?

[–]Mexican_Boogieman 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Covered California gave me one and also dental check ups and very reasonable dental work to boot. I have to pay a lot more when I got my work insurance. It’s pretty cool.

Uhm, no, that title is at best quite misleading. Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).for the most part (if not entirely), preventive care is free and not subject to charges or copayments.

And yes, includes for women generally annual gynecological exam. There isn't exactly an equivalent for males ... at least that isn't generally covered under the routine physicals and such ... which are covered and free under ACA.

So ... maybe next time a wee bit 'o fact checking before putting out something that's at best highly misleading. And you wonder why some folks (e.g. women) sometimes bash what's put on this subreddit ... well, sometimes it deserves it. I think this post does, for being grossly misleading ... so yeah, I'm downvoting it too. Come on 'yall, you can do much better than that! And I've also seen much better than that on this very subreddit.

So ... how 'bout do some basic fact checking before stating something that's false or highly misleading.

[–]enjoycarrots 4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I knew from the title that this would be misleading at best, outright false at worst. The men's movement can do better than this.

[–]enjoycarrots 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The headline is false. Both men and women receive free preventative care including annual checkups. Women receive some women specific things that men don't receive because they don't have vaginas.

[–]CaptSnap 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Under the ACA this is the list of screenings and tests that all insurance must provide for free (if its in your insurance network):

https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-adults/

But youre right, nowhere on the list is a "free annual physical" anywhere near as encompassing as what women get.

[–]SomeWrongdoerFox 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

No offense intended but since we are all about gender fluidity.. Could someone just identify as female for the duration and get the free physical?

[–]Mackdude15 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I doubt it. I've been seeing a shift lately in medical terminology thats been identifying patients as "people with uteruses/vaginas"

[–]SomeWrongdoerFox 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know, right?!

How insensitive though, some woke might argue. I, on the other hand, just want to utilize the logics being floated around nowadays to get a free physical.

[–]Mackdude15 5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There are DEFINITELY injustices that adversely affect men in Healthcare that we could talk about. But im not sure avmbout the credibility of this claim. I'm pretty sure men also get free annual checkups with obamacare

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Have experience in the industry. This is bullshit, men get free physicals as well

[–]Synyster182 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Funny.... my private insurance gives me “free physicals” twice a year...

[–]PolesWithGoals 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It’s unconstitutional

[–]enjoycarrots -1 points0 points1 point 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]BurningOrangeHeaven 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The worst thing about this piece of shit plan is when i couldn't afford insurance some time back and didn't qualify for the free medicare because i made a couple hundred too much - they charged me $50 a month for the no insurance months when it came to tax time.

I could have taken the last 2 weeks off of work that year, gotten paid the same when you account for that $50/month charge, AND had insurance the whole year for free under medicare. The arbitrary cutoffs are so dumb.

[–]pattyp650 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Oh god, men can also get sick wtf. We need universal healthcare 🙄

[–]enjoycarrots 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Headline is false. There are problems with the ACA but this isn't one of them.

[–]pattyp650 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you look at what’s covered they have a bunch of screenings for men as well
