Thoughts on women seeking validation on Facebook/imgur/twitter and whatever other social platforms there are?

I believe seeking validation through these sites (selfies being the main route) is not a RPW quality, but I can't really verbalize why other than you should be doing something more productive than spending so much time on these sites.

Perhaps validation is like an addiction, and every "like" one gets it gives them a (non-permanent) confidence boost? My solution: spend time doing things that will have long- term positive effects instead. Think working out, cooking, learning new hobbies, and even shopping could be considered more productive.

I'd like to hear your thoughts? I know on r/theredpill they have all these specific mandates like "every man should lift" as a starting point. Maybe one of our basic starting points could be "stop seeking validation on social media sites"?

EDIT: maybe even one realizing that they are seeking validation when they post would give some insight into positive change
