Well if someone did ask, I would say I'd like to help women by making society healthier overall, which wouldn't give them any special privelege but would remove a lot of their paranoia, entitlement (which leads to disappointment) and fear, and by teaching both men and women how to both recognize and demonstrate clearly a lack of consent, which as test programs have proven reduces sexual violation. I'd also like to ensure that sexist discrimiation against either sex is acted upon, and I won't push anyone towards fields they don't want to be in or don't have the skills for, improving those industries.

I can't say it's the best scenario for ALL women (some prefer privelege) but for people overall it is the best.

It was a good conversation because she was so clearly in the wrong and being sexist about it.

Easily, when has the MRM ever claimed to be a movement that cares about equality of both sexes? The MRM cares for the rights of men and nothing more. Do most individuals within the movement care for the rights of women? Probably but that doesn't make it the focus of the MRM. Feminism on the other hand claims that the MRM isn't needed because they are already fighting for men's rights conveniently leaving out that they will never give the same consideration to those issues as they do to women's issues if they even care at all. I'd point that out to them.

I fire back the argument: it’s because there’s nothing to do for them. The only thing they don’t have is more money from work, which isn’t true at all. The wage gap doesn’t exist, because more women work less and have more sick days than men, and also spend more. Meanwhile, men are laughed at for having been raped, showing emotion, among others, which women can do without the laughter being shot at them. God, feminists are pathetic. Edit: not to mention court favorings.

It's because feminists always insist that not only is feminism helping men, but it's the only movement allowed to address men's issues.

So it's more of a "put up or shut up" thing than honestly expecting feminists to help.

I wouldn't demand to know what a cancer charity is doing for AIDS.

Unless.... That cancer charity declared it was the only group allowed to discuss any disease and it aggressively worked to shut down AIDS charities on this premise.

Is that her weird way of asking what men's right advocacy does for women?

Well here's a list:

1) If a woman wishes to run for political office, she might want to understand the problems impacting half of her potential constituents. Because if she could empathize with or at least pretend to empathize with things men care about, we might vote for her.

2) If a woman owns a company or works in an HR function, she might want to know how the majority of her low level employees are treated, what dangers they face, and what they are struggling with. Because if she could take care of her male employees better, they might be more motivated to work and work hard for her or her company. Hey- maybe her pay would rise!

3) If a woman owns a company or works in a marketing function, she might be inclined to wonder how men perceive the messages she is sending to them. Because if she doesn't make herself or her company come across as man-hating perhaps they would be more receptive and buy more of the things she is selling. Again- maybe her pay would rise!

4) If a woman is interested in having romantic and/or sexual relationship with a male, she might be best served to think about how he might actually want to be treated. If he doesn't suspect you loathe him and do not care about his interests, he might want to stick with you.

5) If a woman is working for male bosses, she might want to try impressing them! Her pay would DEFINITELY rise.

And finally,

6) If a woman is advocating for women's issues, she might not want to pretend like men are dumb enough to think they will directly benefit. Men are only listening to you because we figured out all of the above points are also true with regards to men and women's rights and men generally like making money and getting laid.

Fixing child custody laws so that men can be fathers, and women can spend more time working, winch would help alleviate the financial burden off men, and would also contribute to a narrowing of the wage gap, would help women.

Honestly the question should be, "what has feminism done for women recently" because I don't think it's much.
