So I just stumbled upon this subreddit the other day, so I apologize in advance if I'm not doing this correctly. And after reading through some posts and what the red pill woman is about I thought, "There ARE still women like me, who detest this neo-feminist bull-hockey being shoved down our throats."

My boyfriend agree's with me. We're both fairly conservative, I used to be a bleeding heart liberal, and I guess as a woman it's normal to have just a little more compassion than men do. But I grew up and realized the liberal agenda is not aligned with my core values, and I now claim libertarian with some republican leanings. NOT that this is a political sub, but I tend to see the neo feminists being more liberal, correct me if I'm wrong.

The reason I think I need a change in my relationship is we had a baby in May. This is my third child and his first. (it might also be worth mentioning I'm 6 years older than him) Since I was about 6 months pregnant the sex basically stopped. It wasn't me not wanting it, it was him. He thought it was weird with the baby, so fine, whatever. I felt awful about myself but I didn't do anything differently. I had the baby via c-section so there wasn't a lot of healing time for the lady bits. We've had sex maybe 3 times since the baby was born, 8 months ago. WHAT THE FUCK? We used to have sex at least weekly prior to my pregnancy. The pregnancy was planned and we were both on board with it. Sex was great, I really love this man.

So I am finally realizing maybe I've let myself go and maybe that's why he's not banging down my door the way he used to. I still have 25lbs to lose from pre-pregnancy. I'm tired, I nurse the baby so my boob's are like off limits to him. I work full time and we bedshare with the baby. So there are like mountains of issues and I feel like I'm definitly facing an uphill battle.

But man, I left work on Friday thinking, "don't be a slob this weekend. Be a good girlfriend." So I woke up, and got dressed and did my makeup and hair. I actually took the kids for the day and he stayed home sick. I might have been a little nagging on him about his sickness because I seriously hate "the man cold." BUT the rest of the weekend I just kept up my appearances, you know showered and brushed my teeth regularly and it fucking worked!

Now, we didn't even have sex this weekend, with the baby in the bed and yadda yadda yadda, but he was so much more affectionate than he's been the past few months.

I just want to thank this sub. For if I hadn't found you I might still be feeling super sorry for myself still and now I'm feeling really great!
