High school girls admitted to targeting and falsely accusing a boy of sexual assault because they 'just don't like him'. Boy was fired from his job, forced to serve time in a juvenile detention facility, is now home-schooled and suffers psychological trauma. School officials just didn’t care.

The whole "Men are intimidated by success" thing was just DARVO and Gaslighting by feminists trying to blame men and misogyny for hypergamy instead of admitting misandry is a thing. The study proves they were projecting womens flaws onto men out of a pathological need to avoid taking responsibility for how they have messed up society with their misdiagnoses of the causes of sexism.

"Men are intimidated by success"

Is also a dodge when it's not the success that men don't like, it's the unutterably unempathetic fundamentally unlikable psychopath she is. She just also happens to be successful. Truth is most men love a woman they don't have to continuously support/pay for.

I'd love to be a stay at home husband.

I did it for a year, it was great.

[–]Regs2 80 points81 points82 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Ummmm, of course we want grown ass adults who can take of themselves. Isn't that like the absolute minimum threshold for dating someone regardless of sex?

[–]Bobsupman 16 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You would think that but.....

[–]McFeely_Smackup 57 points58 points59 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

the "men are intimidated by successful women" narrative is and always has been false. It's something angry, bitchy women say to explain why nobody wants to date them.

It's the same with men who are assholes, but nobody pretends they're unpopular dating prospects because they're "intimidating".

This is just classic Orwellian mind programming, control the language, control the person.

[–]raphxlya1 points 6 years ago [recovered] (4 children) | Copy Link

The excuse of "men don't like being approached", "men need to feel needed /respected more than loved", "men don't like successful/powerful women" is bs just an excuse to shift the responsibilities of everything toward men. (that kind of crap is only applicable to the kind of men who frequent returnofkings and other PUA/incel sites) . women refuse to marry down since they always want men better than them in every possible way, so they make up an excuse to shift the blame onto men.

[–]ExpendableOne 8 points9 points10 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've never met a single man who didn't like or appreciate being approached by women. I have met a LOT of women who just made it obvious that they never wanted to approach men, felt very entitled to the idea that they should never be expected to approach men, and would not want to date men who would want/prefer women to approach them(judging men quite harshly for something women do every day).

[–]LionVenom10 -3 points-2 points-1 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You do realise that PUAs love women. Incels hate them. I’m not saying either is right, but you’re sounding no less ignorant than the People who put MRAs, PUAs and Incels I’m one category.

[–]ExpendableOne 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Most incels do not hate women, at all. You could argue that they are jaded by the way women systematically mistreat and judge them, if not quite literally because of prominent gender roles, but it also wouldn't affect them so intimately if they just hated women. Incels love, desire and want women in their lives and, if anything, would pedestalize women because they are so deprived of female attention.

PUA may not "hate women" either but they don't really see them as full individuals either. Just meat to stick their dicks in and gloat about to their friends. That's not loving women, that's loving the things that fucking a lot of women provides you.

[–]LionVenom10 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Tbh I don’t see why PUA is even gendered, there are countless female PUAs, but theyre called “dating coaches.” But essentially they’re all the same, objectifying men and treating them as simple-minded apes with schlongs.

[–]benderXX[S] 26 points27 points28 points 6 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

We are sending every imaginable message that we want women to think of themselves as equal which means equally responsible for themselves.

But the majority of culture created today for the benefit of women is designed to tell them you don’t have to be equal. Only special. And special means you will be looked after. Why look after yourself when you can guilt a guy to do it for you after sex. And guilt a culture that you have been wronged in some way. Tinder study is one of many that prove men are done with traditional gender roles. Women just don’t want to hear it.

“You have come a long way baby.” Old feminist slogan.

[–]CTeam19 16 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Of course. All the women in my life have taken care of themselves or could easily.

  • Mom worked despite having kids

  • Grandma #1 worked, had kids and stayed home, then went on to work more till she retired at 65

  • Grandma #2 worked till she had kids and was a stay at home Mom BUT would lead many groups: cofounder of the church's Mother-Daughter Banquet, Home Economics Committee for Extension, served on scholarship committees, 4-H Leader, etc

  • One aunt climbed the latter to VP at a Bank while my Uncle was in Law School. When he started making a shit ton of money she started raising kids but does piano for the school plays, contests, and teaches lessons

  • Some Aunts and Great Aunts didn't get married or did and the husbands died young took care of themselves and their own homes till they died.

All others not mentioned are in the same boat. Every single one has a degree. Hell more women have PHd and Master degrees then the men in my family

[–]AEHIILRS1 points 6 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

OkTrends had a bunch of article about who men and women messaged based on various demographic factors. The OkTrends article on age preferences may be most relevant to the "where have all the good men gone"/"can't handle a strong independent woman" cope articles.

In short: successful career-oriented women are cannibalizing irrecoverable attributes that matter to mate selection and maxing out a dump stat.

[–]TibortheChechen 9 points10 points11 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lauren Chen talked about this last week. Bottom line: women should get married and have kids in their 20s. Then focus on career later.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I've heard from no fewer than 10 women that men don't like smart women. Every time I said that's ridiculous, and every time they eyerolled at me and said I don't know what I'm talking about.

I married a pharmacist and as far as I know (among the women above who I still hear from/hear about), none of them have stable relationships.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

IME most "highly successful women" don't have stable relationships period. Either you have two alphas who fight all the time and eventually divorce or an alpha female and beta male who is a pushover/lazy "fun dude" and she eventually gets bored with him or resents that he doesn't make as much as her and doesn't want to "play the game."

[–]glitterBee32 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not all alpha females in the work place are alpha females in their relationships. That’s a big key

[–]EricAllonde 27 points28 points29 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Q: Who pushes the claim that "Men are intimated by highly educated/high income/very successful women?"

A: Feminists. You know, those deranged man-haters who lie about everything in order to fake being the victim, even when they clearly are not.

Remember the iron rule: "Whatever feminists claim, the exact opposite of that is the truth". It's always accurate, as it is here.

[–]jp_mra 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Whatever feminists claim, the exact opposite of that is the truth"

Whatever feminists claim, it's projection of themselves.

[–]ConnorGracie 7 points8 points9 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

In contrast women are offend by men who don't want to support them.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Agree entirely with the survey. If you want a relationship you have to be able to hold a conversation, which means you have to be educated.

[–]Lethn 11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I guess I'm the odd one out in this conversation, I actually couldn't give two shits if a woman was dumb or intelligent. I'm more worried about dating someone that turns out to be a psychotic abuser. I would have no problem dating somebody that was dumb as a brick even by most peoples' standards as long as she was a nice person deep down.

[–]scratchyNutz 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I would have agreed with you at one time, however one ex was as dumb as a brick and over a period of years I'd face-palmed so many times that in the end I lost all respect for her.

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I can understand that but that's how much I hate these feminist women who think they can get away with abusing men and encourage others to do it lol. Sure, it might be frustrating dealing with a dumb girl, but better that than her turning psycho on you and making a false accusation to get you into trouble as a 'punishment' for something you did.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah ... no.

I tried dating a series of good-hearted but ultimately rather dim women, and without ongoing conversation and a desire to expand or learn, I lost interest and respect in a matter of months. If the best anyone can bring to a conversation is what happened on Big Brother last night, I can’t do it.

[–]apeironman 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yarp. Intelligence is definitely a turn-on for me. The last woman I dated could beat me at Trivial Pursuit and I found that incredibly attractive.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

One of my most fulfilling affairs began because she just barely beat me at Trivial Pursuit at a board game party where I’d just met her. It was the first time anyone had beaten me, and you’d think it would have hurt my ego, but it was honestly electric. At the end of the summer she went to the US for her PhD, but that summer was simply amazing.

Smart girls are GD sexy.

[–]cursed_deity 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

you don't need an education to hold a conversation lol

and education doesn't increase your intelligence, it increases wisdom

[–]ClubZlut 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can be an airhead incapable of forming and effectively articulating your own thoughts regardless of education. Less likely for Masters and should be theoretically impossible for a PhD holder but still.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No women we aren’t trying to hold you back... get over yourselves. I honestly wouldn’t seriously date a women who is lesser educated than I, so step up

[–]r8001 3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never in my life have I thought "Damn, this bitch is too successful and educated, I'd rather date this useless deadbeat school-dropout!".

[–]ExpendableOne 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

Men have never been "intimidated" by educated, rich or successful women, it has always been women who used their own level of education, income or success as a means of gatekeeping. A disturbing amount of women do not see their accomplishments as a means of freedom or a personal responsibility, they see it as the minimum level requirement that men must match to date them(a factor of hypergamy or, maybe more appropriately, toxic femininity). The more accomplished women become, the more likely they are to "price themselves out" of their dating pool, and the more likely they are to look down on men who don't match their "status" level.

And, even in situations where some men are "intimidated" by women with higher levels of wealth, education and success, that still doesn't mean they wouldn't want to date them. At worse, it means they might be a bit more insecure about approaching them. The fact that women would ultimately belittle and delegitimize men for their insecurities is another product of their own selective process and gate keeping(arguably, another aspect of toxic femininity, as it should be entirely okay for men to have insecurities or doubts). Even in these situations, women would still be in a position of power, and open themselves up to those men at any point if they wanted to do so.

It shouldn't just be up to men to approach women, or to be the instigating party every step of the way. There are also countless men who would gladly take on the opportunity to be stay at home fathers but most women will generally see those men as free-loaders, losers and unattractive. This is, again, a product of their own choices and a choice they are making in response to their own power/privileges.

It's also the same logic you'd see with so many tall women make about shorter men. They will reject shorter men or belittle them for their height(because of their gender) but then try to make the argument that it was because short men were "intimidated" by them(either causing them to not approach or to appear meek, and therefore undatable by their standards), when really those men would typically still be very open to it.

[–]batfish55 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why don't women ever just ask dudes what they want? Ladies, here's a short list:

Stay fit. Don't be a bitch. Keep our nuts empty.

That's pretty much it.

The whole 'intimidated by successful women' isn't a thing. It's that successful women think so much of themselves that they break rule number 2.

Random - I love it when women call men dogs. They're right, we do go right for your crotch when we meet you. But you know what else? We're loyal as fuck if you treat us right.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I don’t care if she’s successful or not

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

men are not intimidated.... they are indifferent

[–]marcooni1 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So the femicommies favourite line "men fear smart women" goes down to drain?

[–]Svenskbtch 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have yet to find a significant minority of men who are intimidated by successful women notably more than they are intimidated by successful men. And I have looked.

The kernel of truth to this urban myth is that straight men do tend much more than women to feel compelled to match or exceed the level of success their partners have reached. But that is about life partners, and there are ample exceptions. Besides, I think women contribute to that effect at least as much as men - in fact, many of my (relatively successful) female colleagues see this as a concern, even if they have the best of intentions. They find themselves, without wanting to, losing respect and talking down to their lesser earning partners.

But men struggling to cope with people smarter and more efficient than they are JUST because they are women? I can not honestly say I have found them even after having worked at some of the most gender role traditionalist countries in the world, such as Afhanistan and Saudi. And let us not forget that patriarchal countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh were among the first to elect female heads of state as early as the 60s (50s for India and Israel). Not sure how that would fit the narrative...

Is there seriously even one guy on there who's checking a girl's Education level on there, let alone cares about it? It doesn't matter at all, but I gotta wonder if there are any girls on there who say "High School Diploma" is their education level, and not that they are currently a student and/or a graduate.

I remember, when I was helping a female friend meets guys on SeekingArrangement and 2 other SugarDaddy sites, I was looking at tons of female profile, and it was amazing how most chicks (white ones anyway) actually said they had Master's degrees. Actually...it's probably true for a lot of 'em!!! Lol, after all, who's covering the cost of that?! Then again, if the choices were "Undergraduate degree" or "Graduate degree," some of the chicks probably think the first one means someone was still a student, while the second means that someone finished school.

Most men would actually PREFER a woman who can carry her own weight, much as most men would actually prefer a woman who is intelligent, witty, and able to hold an interesting conversation. Alas, women are useless, boring and dull. They are a bit like Nickelback songs: if you know one, you know them all. They are a dime a dozen. When men reduce women to their looks, they do not do this because they are driven by their penis (women are much more driven by their vaginas than men are driven by their penises. It isn't men who swoon after serial killers) it is because women literally have NOTHING else to offer other than their bodies. We WISH they had more to offer but SADLY they don't. Nature played a cruel trick on us when they made women so attractive to us and made them necessary for procreation.

funny enough id believe this... years ago an ex boyf told a story of one of his ex girlfriends, she was high up in finance, apparently obsessed with her career, never around and always wanting to do better. He just couldn't control her as she was driven and determined and theres where a lot of men fall
