I'm not a big fan of Infowars, but when something like this happens to anyone it doesn't matter who their employer is. Sexual assault is wrong and it's good to see that some justice was served.

On another note, this incident encapsulates everything that is wrong about these situations. He was asking reasonable questions and IIRC correctly challenging her on her position, and she responded violently because she was losing the debate. All the other nearby protestors -- dozens of them, and all female I think -- cheered this action of sexually assulating him as completely acceptable behaviour. Then she attempted to lie to the authorities about the events and avoid any responsibility for her actions, despite video evidence clearly demonstrating her guilt. The media was completely silent about this story -- both the initial event and this verdict -- since it goes against the narrative of men as the perpetrators of all sexual assault, and women only as victims. Yet, if it had been a woman working for a small extreme left publication who was sexually assaulted covering a men's march...whoa boy, there would have been hell to pay! It would have been all over the news for weeks and analyzed from every which angle, with talking heads saying that this was an attack against journalism itself, and an assault on every women trying to engage in journalism, because this action was a clear and deliberate threat of future violence against the press and women in particular. "Those violent men's rights groups" they would be proclaiming, and lobbying hard to get any further marches or gatherings banned, all for the safety of women and the public.

<sigh> Yes, this one story encapsulates almost every double standard that men have to face in this world, from men's lack of autonomy regarding their own sexual bodies, to the complete absence of care and compassion for men and boys, to the blind spot society has for anything that goes against the overriding narrative of women as perpetual victims, to the sentencing gap within every country's justice system, and so much more. All of it is laid bare in this one story, that at least has a semi-happy conclusion.

It is absolutely fucking insane that this happened and nobody largely cared. I know it's been said but jesus Christ, imagine what would have happened if somebody wearing a MAGA hat straight up grabbed a woman's cunt because he didn't know how to beat her in an argument or for any reason.

Woman does this: 5 days in jail, 6 months of unsupervised probation.

Man does this: Probably 10 years in prison, with endless prison rape in the meantime, then 20 years of supervised release after getting out, followed by a lifetime on the sex offender registry. He would never be able to get any regular job, and if he did he would be fired the moment his employer found out. No more going to rollercoasters, amusement parks, water parks, or any place where kids might gather even though the offence wasn't committed against a child. Wouldn't ever be allowed to live within 1 mile of a school or playground, making him effectively homeless in many cities. Neighbors would never exchange a word with him and avoid him like the plague the moment they found out who he was. No international travel out of the country for the rest of his life, at risk of being put back in jail the moment he returned to the US, and that's if the country he was visiting even allowed him to enter. Random drug tests for the rest of his life and being forced to go to a police station regularly at risk of being charged with a felony for failing to comply. Meanwhile some murderers only get 10 years in prison and after that are allowed to live a normal life as if nothing had ever happened.
