The average male body requires more calories then the average female body due to physical size.

Depends on where the cuts happen. About 5-10 years ago there was talk about a mansession because economic down turn had eliminated a lot of traditionally male jobs while traditional female jobs did not change much.

There is a lot of social infrastructure investment in woman only programs so I guess there is something to loose. A lot of these woman only programs seam to encourage gender conflict so it might not really be much of a loss to society.
