Well hear me out on this one. What if the 1st batch is like the 1st Polio vaccine, I.E where anti-vaxxers draw their strength, and mows down more people than that Vaccine? It's why I'm not opposed to vaccines I just don't want to be the 1st to take a new one. In case shit happens.

Fuck this "life saving" bullshit. HPV is one of the least deadly diseases ever. Almost everyone has it and practically nobody dies from it, it's just a risk factor in cervical cancer, which is rare. In the west about 1 in a 1000 woman gets it and about 1 in 3000 dies from it. Hardly the fuckin' black death if you ask me. It's a bit more common in Africa and 3rd world Asia so I guess that's a good enough reason to vaccinate british kids /s. Also, the vaccine's effectiveness is rather questionable.

Yes, I'm prepared for the downvotes coming from people who know nothing about the subject apart from "the mainstream media says it's good so it's good". I just wish people like that wouldn't try to "save" other people's children, especially in a misguided drive for gender equality.

HPV can only be passed to men through performing oral sex on a woman. Vaccinating women protects men by proxy.

Guys, this argument is not one you want to engage in. They're right to give the vaccine to women first.

HPV has no effect on men. It's undetectable, and does no harm. It gives women cervical cancer and kills them. The only possible reason to give the HPVvaccine to men is so that they can't pass it to women.
