Women are so infantile and incapable that they can't just tell a date that they aren't meshing with that they aren't feeling it. They have to have a real adult arrange for them to dissappear on the poor guy who hasn't done a damn thing wrong. Now apparently men are picking up on the fact that being children is preferable to being an adult. Not the equality I was hoping for.

Ridiculous. This is why you go for drinks at a neutral place, and go halves. Plus you have the whole English language to use - if you're too childish to be up front and open then you shouldn't be dating in the first place, you could even just and walk out either having said bye or not. "You're not my type" "you're not what/who I was expecting, so I'll be off" whatever, who gives a shit? It's not a big deal, no one needs to be clandestine about it, we don't need secret handshakes, signs and winks - use your words, neither of you in that situation are special

I'm glad they went gender neutral this time instead of women as victims vs men. That being said, it does seem pretty infantile. You're an adult. If someone shows up that isn't who they say they were or you just want to get out of the situation then just get out of the situation. If something feels weird, just say it feels weird and address the weirdness. If you don't feel safe, address why you don't feel safe(if its in your head, deal with that; if it is a real threat, deal with that or literally call out for help). Sneaky code words are just silly.
