In other words.... in golf women start closer to the pin - that isn't a level playing field. In Tennis women play less sets - not a level playing field.

I have been persuing this question since seeing a chart sometime last year showing the time results of Olympic athletes in swimming. Upon reading the chart I came to the conclusion that in order for a man to compete at an olympic level and come in anything better then 8th place he needed to be faster then the worlds fastest women in said event.

It was a realization that kind of blew my mind.

What about pool (ummm billards) Any billards fans out there? I am not one. Are women and men equal in billards?
