It's ironic that he says that saying "it's a dangerous time to be a man" is bullshit, when his post and the responses to it demonstrate exactly how society is indeed generally quite anti-male

A man who's falsely accused can have his life ruined, and people will celebrate it. A man who is genuinely the victim of sexual violence, especially by women, is silenced because his speaking out is considered "derailing" from the supposedly more important female victims and male perpetrators

And men speaking out against any of the serious issues they deal with disproportionately more (like, indeed, heart disease being a greater risk for men; as well as suicide, homelessness, genital mutilation, workplace deaths and injury, longer prison sentences, custody disputes, etc.) are dismissed with "shut the fuck up"

Tl;dr It is a dangerous time to be a man, and bullshit like this is evidence of it

It was always more dangerous to be a man through out history. More men died. More men were victims of violence. And it women were always the protected class through out history.

What we are seeing now in these recent century is simply a change in the type of danger that men are exposed to. Men were always lynched, attacked over hysteria of outraging a woman's modesty or honor. It is just that the internet is the medium of 'lynch mobs' this time around. Nothing has really changed.

I don't think he gets that actually having done anything is not a requirement to be accused of anything. The problem is that with most crimes evidence is required, motives of the accusers are taken into account and your career and reputation isn't instantly ruined by the accusations.

Still, we do need obedient people of average intelligence to make up the numbers in our lovely world.

That same issue is still present today, and always will be. People lie, we can't just believe things just because someone says something. Otherwise there really is a governmental conspiracy to hide a second moon. We need to protect victims of all kinds. Which means those falsely accused as well.
