This shit is really getting to me lately.

I almost went to jail tonight because my drunk girlfriend got pissed at me and tried to call the cops on me for some bullshit made up domestic violence nonsense. Fortunately our roommate saw the whole thing.

This woman has every advantage. Shelters and programs just for women to help her get over her drinking problem. A huge network of people that care about her and who have been trying in vain to help her. And she has wasted it all while my male friends with drinking problems have had to solve their own issues with virtually no help at all. She has emotionally abused me for months. She has physically assaulted me multiple times. This isn't the first time she's tried to get me arrested on some made up shit, usually because I've hidden her ID or tried to keep alcohol away from her. And I've stuck around cuz I want to help her. If she were a man she'd be dead or in jail by now with how she treats people. The point is, women already have such a huge advantage in our first world western society, to the point that they get away with stuff a man never would.

And despite all the advantages women already have, it's still not enough. Everything we as men do for them, not enough. We are still expected to worship them. It's just too fucking much to take anymore. I just don't want to live in a world so unfair anymore. Where a terrible, spiteful, angry, drunken person can nearly destroy my life on word alone just because she's a woman and I'm a man. And it's still not enough for them

While every single one of my male friends is miserable in one way or another because of the women in their lives or lack thereof.

It's getting harder and harder not to be cynical about women in general. Just needed to vent I guess

Because equality is one group being treated better and getting more than the group who used to be treated better and get more.

This is part of a massive overcorrection. Let's go out of our way to make girls and women feel special because things used to really suck for women before these women were even born. And now it's boys who are being ignored and left out. I don't know which I dread more - This girl power trend continuing forever or the pendulum swinging back in the other direction and this obvious wrong being more than righted for boys who weren't around to be wronged. Because if it's the latter, that pattern will continue and that's no good for anyone.

I showed this Day of the Girl thing to my (honestly-not-psychotic) feminist wife and she noted that a man has never told her or made her feel that she can't or that she's less because she's a woman, but that plenty of women have told her that everybody is rooting against her for that reason. This group is their own worst enemy. Half of them don't realize that and the other half is desperately hoping they never do.

I was on a anti sjw page and I saw someone posted this so I said why I disliked this(which was because their is a day of the girl but not one for the boy which is sexist ) and several individuals got on my case. Someone said I was a troll,someone said I was sexist and like 7 people didn’t get what I meant It was a mess.

So when did this sub become anti women? I'm all for equality for men on many issues. Day of the Girl doesn't affect men's rights in any way shape or form.
