This is the way to solve the gender wage gap.

3 month maternity to both parents taken simultaneously. -both parents bond with baby simultaneously

60% contributions from both employers for childcare till age 3. - parents need only pay 40% ( 20% of childcare each from respective parents wage packet), so no huge cost for anyone.

The automatic forfeit of the career positions of anyone who doesn't return after 3 months. They can always try and reapply in the future if they desire. Business shouldn't put on hold any positions for more than 12 weeks, except in exceptional circumstances. Having a baby is not an exceptional circumstance.

This will close the gender Wage gap and ensure we have the most talented and experienced female workforce that will advance society, and not hinder it.
