When I saw this, I immediately thought of Uncharted 4. SPOILERS follow, you are warned. You start off with 2 villains, a rich white guy (Rafe) and a black, strong, independent woman (Nadine). Seriously, she is the leader of a mercenary band and highly skilled in martial arts and kicks the asses of our main character(s) several times. Whereas Rafe is your regular rich, white douchebag with no real skills or nuance.

Nothing wrong so far, but around the end, Nadine is shown to be a 'sympathetic villain' that is beaten and forced by Rafe to do his bidding when she wants to make the right decision, while Rafe is a douchebag character with no redeeming qualities. So to reiterate, Rafe is a one-note douchebag with hardly any nuance to his character, Nadine is a strong woman that has good reasons for doing what she does. At the end, Nadine betrays Rafe to solidify her role as 'sorta good villain'. 'women can't ever be truly bad, it's just their environment that makes them bad. Oh, but white males can be.'

Now, this message might have been coincidental, but you see these types of stories so much nowadays, that some of them are undoubtedly influenced by SJWs. And it gets tiring. We get it, women, especially black women are nuanced people that are morally superior to males (usually white) in similar roles. But wouldn't it have been much more surprising if the black woman turned out to be the real douchebag, moustache-twirling villain? For once? Because this outcome was really predictable and 'safe'.

Because if they were attractive men, that'd be problematic. If they were minority men, that'd be problematic.

Culturally, we define goodness and badness in physical attractiveness. Its called Halo V Horn effect, and women get it in pussy pass a lot (the more attractive, the better they can avoid punishment or critical judgement), but men also get it if they're attractive.

Physical attraction has a lot to do with rating a person's intent and morals. A highly attractive male of any color is a "good guy" by automatic, which is why women lower their guard for them so easily (think Jeffrey Dalmer, among other attractive male serial killers that very capably lured tons of women of all ages).

Ugliness is next to sinfulness for males.

Star Wars Rogue One is a great example. The protagonists looked like a fucking add for Benetton.

I don't know about the rest of the article, but for the most recent Sherlock episode itself, the big bad was literally based on Jimmy Savile, who was a serial child molester instead of a serial killer. The episode before that was a british woman.

really? given the ending of that same episode of Sherlock that this is trying to use as an example, I would say it kinda disproves the title! even saying that much is giving spoilers some people may not appreciate so that's all I'll say for now.

The reason they are all white men is ironically a compliment. It means producers know we can handle it like adults. It means we can portray a wide range of characters of every background. When feminists and SJWs hold a gun to their heads and demand only positive portrayals, it is a patronising insult.

Wow um, there not? there are tons of movies where the white dude it not a bad guy. Also as a white a dude, who fucking cares? If the actor is good a playing a creepy bad dude, and so happens to be white, than so be it. Jesus this sub is fully of whiny dudes.
