This shows up the double standards as much as anything else. Male victims of sexual assault are the subject of ridicule.

Men are regularly sexually assaulted by women in nightclubs but nothing is done about it. You'd be laughed at if you tried to report it to the police.

A previous hobby-job had me in bars about 5 nights a week for several years...so I'd be sober and people watching rather than drunk and, well, peopling.

The sense of entitlement displayed by drunk women is nothing short of staggering. ANY behavior at all is justified as far as they're concerned, repercussions are simply unthinkable, and being asked to curtail their drunken bullshit is almost always met with an explosion of screaming and/or violence.

The thing is men are educated and prepared from a young age to expect to be held responsible for their actions when getting sloppy drunk. Run your mouth, you'll get your ass kicked. Grab a woman, you'll get thrown out, and get your ass kicked. Start a fight, you'll get your ass kicked.

Women are never taught anything but "you go girl" and then we act surprised when the entire lot of them act like spoiled children.

My friend is a rock star. He refuses to meet groups of female fans unless there is a "body guard" present to remove those women who get too "friendly". Sometimes that's not enough and he needs to remove himself.

It's the middle-aged women in particular, he told me.

It seems like some guy could make a bit of cash by wearing a skirt to bars and fliming the women who harrass him - he could sue the women for sexual harrassment. I bet 10 woman a night would lift your kilt if you were a good looking guy. How are the starving ambulance chasing attornies not doing this already?

It's rude and they shouldn't have to take it. I would like to know if this is something that got worse with time or has it always been like this. My gut tells me that it went bad recently.
