This tumblr-feminist-inspired relationship advice is BPD in a bottle. The idea that the world sucks, that you're powerless, and that you're a bad person (internalized misogyny / a privilege / etc) is an extremely unhealthy worldview.

tl;dr - treat BPD patients like a good parent treats children, being sympathetic but creating boundaries and encouraging them to grow up.

But I'm not a shrink, you're probably not a shrink, so just avoid the crazies if you can.

But on the bright side, while these nutters are a vocal minority, they are still quite a small minority. Yes, they get jobs in media, because their antics can be entertaining, but their high visibility doesn't mean they are everywhere.

If you want to be healthy, assume most women are emotional adults, and just avoid the rare emotional woman-child if you have the misfortune of running into one.

I've got deep-set Nice Guy shaming which has done a number on my self esteem. I do believe it's manipulative. They've prioritised the protection of women and children at all costs.

No offense but if you find yourself feeling uncomfortable around women without reason you may be projecting your insecurities on them, the same with any paranoid woman who freaks out if a guy looks intimidating.
