I find it funny how you get all these people here complaining about whether a DUI or a temper tantrum is actually a pussypass. I never saw anyone complain about the videos where the chick gets knocked out after attacking a guy. If you wanna get technical, she never asked to be treated as a girl. It's the underlying social expectations that are assumed that I think this sub is really against.

Women get off easier in the justice system, can yell at their spouse in public without having the cops called, can hit a man in public, and no one cares. I think this group rallies against the pussypass society grants women, not necessarily the one a woman grants herself.

Valid point, but the Hope Solo story is a bad example. The reason why people are glad to see her getting in trouble with the law is that she previously was given a blatant pass for domestic violence, at the same time as there was the incident of Ray Rice being hit multiple times by his girlfriend and then being demonised for hitting back once. Never mind "innocent until proven guilty": everyone saw the video evidence of her being the aggressor. No facts were disputed. It's just that no one cared: the man was instantly judged to be evil by virtually every commentator.

Nothing close to that standard was applied to Hope Solo. If she were a man, she would be driven out of the sport now, regardless of guilt.

The details of the case can be debated, and by all means have high standards for this subreddit, but just don't simplify the Hope Solo case as people randomly wanting bad stuff to happen to women. It's the double standard that enrages people.

I agree that it's hard to justify a woman getting equal treatment for her misdeeds actually counts as any pass denial... But as long as I don't see outright videos of women getting mistreated, or overly retaliated against for their actions, I don't see it as being supportive of a misogynist bias.

This Hope whats her face post is part of a larger story. So far it is straight pussy pass. International sports star gets away with stuff that male sports stars get kicked off of teams for. And she is representing her country. She beats up some family members again whilst drunk. Still allowed to play. Drives drunk. Still allowed to play.

I think this sub is way beyond that. This sub is nothing but a circlejerk of bitter neckbeards who think all women deserve to have bad things happen to them. I love how this subreddit has the guise of being about equality but if there was a subreddit called /r/whitepassdenied that was full of people celebrating every time a white person was disadvantaged, would you all subscribe?

Personally I think a pussypass is when a woman gets treated fairly. Sure she was never saying "I'm a girl, don't hit me" but I would still consider it a pussy pass denied if she gets hit in self denfence.
