HVM don't need to use matchmakers, they stumble on amazing women IRL.

If a dude has so little time that he needs a third party to collect women for his perusal, he doesn't have time to date.

It's pimping with extra steps. You're not someone who can be sold.

A friend of mine hired a match making service in a different city and said it was a collosal waste of time and money. The match maker gave her some matches she wasn't interested in, and then kept cajoling her to meet this one match that my friend KNEW she wouldn't be attracted to "JuSt GiVe HiM a ChAnCe". My friend went on the date and surprise surprise... she still wasn't attracted to or interested in him.

Don't you ever watch those shows?? Every episode is the same:

Bald, chubby, social skill-devoid high earner employs heavily made up woman to find him a concubine.

All candidates must be ludicrously younger than him, educated and articulate, yet still willing to schlep around with gumdrop-shaped mumblemouth for indeterminate time and possible permanent alliance.

Aforementioned sad sack will also employ legal means to ensure minimum amount of compensation for said service to ensure "romance".

You are the most capable person to find your HVM. No one else can do a better job.

$10,000? It's really not worth it.

I'll be honest here. I think your chances of meeting a HVM there are slim if not none. HVM probably have no trouble finding women to date irl so they have little reason to pay for a matchmaker. Even if they are single, they'll probably try other ways to meet women. There are so many good alternatives that cost less.

Similarly, there are a lot of other options to meet men which are free or much cheaper. Investing so much money into meeting men is just not worth it. HVM are a minority, and chances are the HVM you come across will not be compatible with you.

BTW you can do a quick search of the word "matchmaker" on this sub. You'll see that most people had a negative experience with matchmakers.

I am also in Los Angeles and I have to say that dating guys from Southern California will likely bring you to an early grave. SoCal is just Peter Pans left and right, the only difference being that these guys from the matchmaker have more spending money. Not only does SoCal breed Peter Pans, it also attracts them so it mostly doesn’t even matter where they were raised either. The only men I have ever entertained in LA have been from the Midwest and they ended up here not for the weather or the beautiful women, but for some other reason. This is just not a good city for dating imo.

In a word, don't. A friend of mine went to a matchmaker -- Kelleher -- and paid like $30k, and they introduced her to the same type of loser men that she was meeting on OLD sites. It was a total waste of time and money.

I had a matchmaker tell me that for $50k she could introduce me to men that were "closer to my age" and I told her that for that price, I'd rather keep the money. I'm a very attractive 50 year old, and am still mistaken for being in my mid 30s. I can date those old guys for nothing on an OLD site. 🙄
