Can't the Girl Scouts arrange a camping trip?

Why does every space reserved for boys and men have to be taken over by feminism and turned into a mechanism for demonstrating female supremacy?

Can there be no space in society where men and boys are together? It's as if the goal of feminism is to insure that men and boys are fractured as a group, that females are prioritized in every quarter of society, at every moment in our lives. It's as if the feminist agenda is to very deliberately destroy every interaction between men and boys that helps boys grow up to be strong and successful, and to replace those interactions with the total prioritization of females no matter what.

I repeat: Can't the Girl Scouts arrange a camping trip? And don't the women who lead in the Girl Scouts think of the Girl Scouts as a space where women and girls can be together? Why is such a space suddenly invalid the moment it is provided to boys and men?

I will be calling them to say that I am an Eagle Scout and that scouting was an important part of my youth. A key component of that was the all male environment, in which I learned from older boys and men lessons about how to comport myself as a man in our society, lessons that I firmly believe would be difficult if not impossible to impart in mixed gender groups. Given the declining opportunities today for boys to be around boys and just be boys, I will respectfully request that the BSA decline to admit girls into scouting.

This has pissed me off. Personally, I don't even like the Boy Scouts (I was one) because I see them as eerily close to the Mormon Church and really just a conservative programming vector.

With that said, they are still a space for men and boys to maintain our male heritage.

The Girl Scouts have the word "Scouts" in their name and therefore, are presumably 100% entirely capable of going camping. Do they need boys to go camping? No. They can do it themselves.

This attempt to get girls into the Boy Scouts is an attempt to destroy one of the last few spaces in our society in which male heritage is maintained.

Let's be clear here. When we say "girls seek to become boy scouts", what we really mean is "awful aggressive toxic mother's looking for trouble" since they are the ones pushing. There are few, if any little girls who desired to join the boy scouts without being pushed by such mothers, fewer still who then said, "right, Im going to campaign to change the basic status of this group". They are little GIRLS. Guaranteed this all happened thanks to such awful parents, and perhaps a few White Knights and adopting Gay and Lesbian couples. This is typical parent pressure, pure and simple. What's really sad is that both the campaigners kids, nor the boy scouts will only be made miserable by this. So pathetic that they couldn't just live and let live and instead had to meddle as bitter men-haters looking for trouble.

just another hilarious development in the "lets make headlines with faux outrage" one billion percent chance these poor girls had no part of this stunt and their parents are using them as pawns for their 15 minutes of tumblr fame. If anything, the girl scouts need to modernize their curriculum and add some non home ec type stuff

Boy Scouts has all manner of co-ed programs. Girl scouts refuses to work jointly with them despite many calls and invitations. BSA has problems but it would demolish what little value my Eagle rank has left to kowtow to feminism. The co-ed venture scouts meetings were a nightmare and a constant parade of people pulling in their current date and dropping out when they broke up.

But no, they'll start talking about safe spaces and all that which is apparently a right that's reserved solely for women and girls. Boys and men don't deserve to feel safe or wanted anywhere, ever.

I'm an Eagle Scout, and it was my experience that the Boy Scouts outings and experiences are exciting and challenging because they are planned and led (in general) by a collective of men doing things that the collective of men enjoy and are challenged by.

I've never been to a Girl Scout meeting, but I imagine that their outings and experiences are planned and led (in general) by a collective of women doing things that they (the women doing the planning) enjoy or think their daughters will enjoy.

Now, call me sexist if you will, but it has been my experience that the preferred exploits of men and women are quite different, and thus, if you want your Girl Scout experiences to be more like those found in Boy Scouting then my advice is to find some men that will plan those outings.

I agree with the scouts decision to not let them in. In the UK in contrast they have let the girls join the scouts and stopped the boys from joining the guides.

That in my mind is completely sexist and unacceptable. So if they US is making a stand I completely support it.

I hated being in BSA, my brother was an Eagle Scout, think I got like three merit badges, didn't see the point. I'm way more successful then my brother now btw. With that said, at least they didn't make us sell cookies. That's gotta really suck.
