Of course then it'll be sexist that more women than men get injured in the line of duty...that said, i have to admit I've seen some pretty wildly out of shape cops.

I used to do the fitness testing in Ontario for police applicants. The testing standards are not unreasonable here. You have to complete an obstacle course within a certain time limit with a push/pull component. Yes, more women failed than but it was usually due to lack of conditioning or small stature.

Defense techniques? How is that going to help apprehend a 6'6" 300lb man? I'm sorry but there are lots of jobs for all kinds of people and some jobs that are not for every body type.

Just will mean that incompetent female officers will be shooting / tasering / pepper spraying more male suspects because of being unable to properly subdue them. Just means that they will have to have a male officer along with them to babysit and do the "physical" stuff that she is incapable of doing.

It severely lowers the standards, and the views of the other women who were physically able to meet the levels required to be a police officer. Certain jobs require certain skills.

Can someone explain me why we always see male/female pairs of police officers? Or two males. Has anyone ever seen a pair of two female policewomen on a dangerous street?

Because 2 women would become laughing stock of the criminals. When one man is there, he can do the hard and dangerous jobs. She still can use the radio to call in further help
