Men’s Right activists participated in Mumbai Marathon 2016. One of them got dressed as an ATM and others were holding a banner that 'Husband is not ATM'. It went viral, other participants came to get a photo clicked with them. General public also voiced the slogans with MRA's. More success to them.

When women get an opportunity to show chivalry they say,No way. (Normal trains are too overcrowded and women trains run 70% empty. Still, Indian women refuse to accommodate any coach for men in ladies train)

In India, you will find almost every corporate house celebrating Women's Day and Mothers Day. But, they conveniently seem to forget Men's day, Fathers Day, Boy's Day etc. So Mumbai NGO brings out men's right calendar 'Malendar'

India's Judiciary is so corrupt that activist claim there is billion dollar bail scam industry and most of it is from trapping men through anti male laws.

A popular deretgent sponsors a survey. The biased results of the biased survey are given to bloggers to write paid blogs. One of the guy's is MRA and he does write a blog on findings of this survey. But not supporting, rather exposing the sponsor company, the survey & results ;)

But India is a different story, where 85% of the users are women.

How the hell are they getting that. The graph shows red for cities where the more than 85% users are male and yellow if less than 85% are men.

Edit- I guess the author thought yellow means 85%+ are women.

IMO it's bullshit. There's so much fakery in these accounts that you can't really conclude much at all from it.

[–]mud074 25 points26 points27 points 10 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Why the fuck is this on /r/mensrights?

[–]Corn-Tortilla 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because "stupidity is the basic building block of the universe". Zappa

[–]20rakah 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

doesn't seem relevant at all does it.

[–]mud074 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's not. It's just getting upvoted because of the whole "fuck women, amirite?" thing that has been unfortunately gaining traction in this sub for awhile.

[–]20rakah 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

so much for everyone putting that stuff in /r/MensRants instead. either need more moderation here or a new sub

[+]rg57 -7 points-6 points-5 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Because the Ashley Madison hack was specifically an attack on men, and has put lives at risk?

[–]mud074 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

And I ask again, why the fuck is this post in specific on /r/mensrights? I disagree with what you say, but the OP literally has nothing to do with it being an "attack on men" nor anything to do with /r/mensrights at all. All the article is, is "haha look at all the women cheaters", not about it being "an attack on men" nor "putting lives at risk".

I was under the impression that most of the female accounts were bots.

[–]RamenAvenger9 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

This has got to be it. Indian guys are always trolling chats & sites looking for sex.

... so I've heard from, you know, people who use those kind of things.

While probably partially true, I think it's damage control for the princesses

[–]chuckcuhc 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Ashley Madison is hardly representative of the cheating 'culture' as a whole is it?

[–]masterrod 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why do we assume people that are on the site are actually cheating? I thought the data that was reveled was just members and nothing more.

[–]The_0bserver 4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Indian here. Practically no one used that over here. Maybe it got famous in a few female-centric cliques?

[+]s33br0wnb0x 10 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

This is very interesting considering the rape endemic in India--they have an app call VithU that is endorsed by the India government to help curb the issue. So are women looking for others because their husbands are raping them? And I believe that they still have arranged marriages. Perhaps this is the reason for the high number of cheating female spouses.

[–]mwobuddy 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Husband rape = go have sex with another man? Do you even think about what you're saying?

[–]s33br0wnb0x1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yes I do think about what I am saying. Do you believe that women, who are in abusive relationships, all of the sudden become lesbians. Let's look at the situation: In an arranged marriage Can't divorce because of Hinduism *Perpetual unhappiness What are her alternatives? I believe that women are often looking for compassion on a website like Ashley Madison. So yes. Husband rape = go find a different husband.

[–]michaelmalak -2 points-1 points0 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

In many Indian prearranged marriages, the man gets to pick from a dozen potential spouses and the woman gets no choice.

[–]Corn-Tortilla 7 points8 points9 points 10 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Somebody please tell me humans aren't as stupid as the poster above.

Thank you. That is all.

[–]questionnmark 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The women also get to choose at least from the Indians I know.

[–]GADBabaganoosh -3 points-2 points-1 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I was going to say this. Arranged marriages probably have a lot to do with it. If you have no say in choosing your spouse naturally you might want to find someone else.

[+]TxksDQZN -6 points-5 points-4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I thought Ashley Madison was only in Canada?
