Weasel tactic especially when they don't even reference who made that estimate or link to it.

Common practice for people who want to manipulate statics. They do this a lot with the wage gap stats too, "One commonly cited number is 76 cents for every dollar..."

Maybe my maths is wrong, but that equates to one in two hundred rape allegations being false. This is a departure from the normal "2-8%" claim. You can comment at the foot of the page, and I asked them for a source and also to comment if the the recent false allegations in Victoria (in which a girl claimed she was raped by three men) counted as one false allegation or three false allegations?

If it is 1 case, that is 1 case to many. Feminists shouldn't be protecting false accusers in any circumstance. A rape victim can be properly vetted to ensure that he or she is telling the truth.

What data-gathering methods are even capable of determining something to that precision? Margin of error usually becomes a concern at much less precise values.
