Academia enshrines feminism. The same people who are "forcing" schools to adopt an anti-man, anti-justice stance are the ones that the schools taught to do those things in the first place.

Furthermore, when all this started, schools could have taken a moral, principled stand against the elimination of due process and the demonization of men. The Harvard letter could have been published years ago. Instead, greedy, amoral administrators saw their way to keep enriching themselves at the expense of their students, and everyone else looked away and minded their own business.

And now, now that they've done everything wrong that they possibly could, and all their bad choices are coming back to bite them in the ass, now that men's lives have been ruined for short-term gain and the lawsuits are growing like a storm, now they're starting to cry that it's not fair.

Well, fuck that. It is entirely fair.

There was no evidence of a crime. There never was.

A woman lied to a magazine. The magazine amplified the lies. That's not evidence. Was there a Title 9 issue?

Well yeah that's mostly pandering bullshit but perhaps the author felt that was necessary to survive the flak against the position of "re-thinking" Title IX enforcement.

The actual truth is simple enough but can't be said in public. Namely that the OCR (the office within the Education department that interprets the law for the executive) is run by a bunch of total bigots who hate men. They use the equality law to impose extreme discrimination on universities under the threat of funding cuts.

Note that no law court has gone along with them on this. This stuff hasn't gone to court yet, although it's about to, because of the male victims. The judiciary has yet to weigh in and ask if the bigots in the OCR are interpreting the law correctly.

And obviously they are not.

Of course the Universities HR departments are already infested with cancerous feminism so there's no brake being applied there either. The threat to cut funds is a largely fake one because the people in charge of this in the universities agree. It's just there to give them something to scare non-feminists at the university with. Universities used to push back against the OCR in the courts but they don't any more. Easier to just fuck the young men over and if anyone ever does ask just say "the government told us to" as your defense.

But I doubt that defense will be good enough considering how blatant the sex discrimination. Even so, I don't know how many men are suing over the discrimination as opposed to the civil rights violations. That's because many universities could at least claim that in theory their draconian sexual assault policies are gender neutral, wink wink.

At the very least any man accused of sexual assault by a university needs to charge the woman he had sex with the same way. Make them break their own rules by deliberately ignoring charges against women.

Federal rules may make "either choice" a potential danger for universities, but that claim ignores the fact that university administrators want to act as if the (non regulatory empowered) Dear Colleague letter was law. Their goal is as little muss and fuss as possible and they do that by expelling the accused as quickly as possible, in the hopes that no criminal case will come of it.

Every sex assault related expelling by US universities, public or private, should have the invariably male victim of the expelling file a court case filed against both the school and the university president. The admins hate losing the millions in court, but they really hate all the media coverage of such a case.

Colleges are not prepared to deal with crimes like rape. Many "judicial boards" at colleges are composed of administrators (trained and experts in administering colleges), professors (trained and experts in teaching) and even students (trained and experts in drinking and asking for extensions on papers).

Colleges should call the cops when a crime is reported, and if the accused is found guilty of rape (assuming their student decorum guidelines prohibit sexual assault), expel the student.
