Hello fellow MRA's, I've been boiling up over the issue of the ability of female rapists to get child support from their rape victims, in the media usually a boy, though in reality quite a few men as well. So, I've done some reading and two court cases cames up. First and most well known, County of San Luis Obispo v. Nathaniel J. Just as important, there is Hermesmann v. Seyer. What really surprised me is that there is nothing explicitly in the law that allows women to do this, well as far as I know. The interpretation of the relevance of consent plays a big issues in both cases.

Anyway let me get to my point. What these court cases do, unfortunately, is set a precedent for other cases. It's an example of how our social prejudices can color the legal system which could be blind to color, sex, orientation etc. So, I want to write a letter to my representative (John Sarbanes, here over in Maryland, USA), and I'm not sure what to ask him :|. Anyway general discussion on activism thread, if you have some good idea on a campaign or whatever link MRActivism. ♂=♀
