This was a bad design from the start. It requires no effort for the women, it just dumps hundreds of men on to her. Both men and women instead of swiping should be required to use searching, setting up filters to narrow down what partner they want and then contacting each other. Sure hypergamy would still apply, but at least chance to be seen could increase.

Don't forget the factor that most men will swipe on absolutely everyone to maximize their chances. It is a skewed horrible game for men, I have to agree with that.

If a woman mathces with hundreds of guys then shes most likely just looking for validation only. You'd expect a woman that knows what she's looking for to only match and talk with a small number of guys that she thinks are compatible, not hundreds of people as theres no way to manage that.

Dating apps are good way to get your self esteem destroyed as a man.Most of my friends who downloaded tinder deleted them within a month after getting no matches or matches only from bots .Some who do fine in real life also failed badly there

But the messages are often creepy or weird though. I used Tinder once and, although I didn't get hundreds of matches (becauase most women don't get that kind of attention), a lot of the ones I did get were just creeps.

I think that's why there's so few women use dating services– and of course, the less women that use them the more competitive it becomes for men.

Yeah. That's why no women use the shit. I know it's like being poor and trying to sympathise with rich kid problems, but if you try and be objective you might catch a glimpse of how shit it is to have to wade through that amount of bullshit in hopes of finding a guy who doesn't reveal himself to be an absolute fucking creep.
