I mean yeah females are typically the selectors in nature and I see no reason or indication of humans being the exception there.

As a consequence tho, I don't think they deserve any sympathy for whatever dating struggles they think they have. They have it easier on pretty much every metric and any problems they do have are usually just a result of their own pickiness and what traits they prioritize.

Women have always been the selectors. The problem is that men were always told lies that they needed to do literally everything & even throw themselves at women just to be liked. Even if it meant changing themselves& what not. The simple truth is that if women really liked you, you wouldn’t have to change your entire personality & everything about yourself just to appeal to them.

I’ve noticed that some men are so desperate & they’re willing to do anything just to be wanted by a woman. Even if it means goes against their own morals & principals. Also Nowadays everyone is so addicted to validation & approval from others it’s almost unnatural. People base their entire self worth on how others view them. Some men are really obsessed with the idea of even having a woman, in which it’s what’s destroying them. Having Too much desire isn’t a good thing.

I think it's generally true, but I also don't think it's necessarily true - rather, I see it as the consequence of the male sex drive and our conditioning around it relative to women's sex drive and their conditioning around it. Right now we are definitely, 100% in a situation where men have to perform a mating dance, even if it's subtle, but I don't think it's necessary under all social configurations.
