[CA] Trial on Friday. Please throw me some advice for trial. She has an aggressive lawer. I also have an attorney but he is not aggressive.

Aggressive attorneys arent always good attorneys. My ex's is 'aggressive' but he's also a clown. Got yelled at by the judge at our last hearing in a way in which you could see the judge instantly lose all respect for the guy.

Depends on what state you’re in, and the discretion of the presiding judge.

My exwife, at divorce trial had a recent conviction and jail time for “DUI with kids in the car.” It got me 50/50 custody. If roles were reversed, I would have gotten supervised visitation only.

court manners! Say your honor if they are a judge. Say good morning. Do not interrupt anyone. Ask your honor if you can speak.You might want to prepare a statement.

Practice poker face. If the lawyer says outlandish stories about you. “Your honor that never happened. This is a fabricated story either by my soon to be ex or her lawyer. There is No evidence to this ridiculous fraudulent claim. I have been gainfully employed for 20 years. In great standing with my job of 10 years with many connections that could speak to my honesty and work ethic. I have many family and friends that could do the same. I haven’t had a traffic ticket or parking ticket in 20 years. I can provide photos of how many my children are when with me. In the contrary my ex has had traffic tickets, altercations with people, has a temper. blah blah blah.

Idk. Plan for the worst. Have bullet points ready. Vehemently deny any bull shit.

No history of abuse, neglect or otherwise? There is no way she is going to win full custody. Without of course being able to show a track record of issues that would effect your kid (drugs, drinking etc). Her attorney maybe aggressive but he's the type that throws a bunch of shit at walls.

What does your attorney say? I can't believe he hasn't calmed your concerns... O.o

What is her reasoning for not wanting to give you equal parenting time? Do you have a safe home for your kids? Are you able bodied and capable of caring for them? Do you have transportation and are capable of taking them to and from school, doctors appointments etc?

If the answer is yes then it should be 50/50. What she “wants” has nothing to do with your children seeing their father on an equal time basis.

Edit: typically what they want is more time because that = more child support $

Strongly recommend any men to hire a female lawyer for divorce court. Women know how women think...if we knew how they thought, we'd probably not be in this sub right now lol

But seriously...no male lawyer will match the cunning and conniving a woman will cook up during a divorce proceeding. You need a female on your side to fight back effectively.
