Hit the gym daily.
Stay away from SINGLE moms at ALL costs and anyone who claims their ex was abusive. Do NOT raise another man’s child. You may end up being on the hook financially (Child support) for their kid if you leave.
Travel once a year.
Read books like No More Mr. nice guy
Open up the New Testament and start reading daily + listen to Charles Stanely on YouTube. • Learn to forgive your ex. This will set you emotionally and mentally free so you can begin enjoying life once again.

At least you now know you have at least one person who’ll stick by your side when things get rough. Just remember that, although they are a big part of your life and sometimes purpose, you are not your possessions, or your job, or even your family/marriage.

It's a sickening world as a whole. Your mistake was trying to believe otherwise, so when reality knocked on the door you were shocked by how ruthless it is. The better way to go forward would be to use hard and cold logic to navigate. You can't shut off emotions but surely you can avoid being their subject.

See, evolution is NOT your friend. Sex drive and falling in love are coercive mechanism so you pass your genes, frequently to your detriment. Recognize mechanics that are not in your best interest and eliminate them ruthlessly. Do not feel humiliated or ashamed of your current position, but use it to reorganize yourself and realign with reality - so that doesn't happen again. In a few years you may become more successful BECAUSE of the current pain you're feeling.

I look at my life back then and ask myself a question "If I had the chance to go back in the past and have my wife love me, would I trade my current life for it?" and the answer is "What?! No! Are you crazy?". I'm not trading the great life I built!

What you need is a comeback story, a success that will come as a result of the pain you feel now. That future success will justify your current pain. You will be able to make sense of it all, and even appreciate it as necessary for your growth.

Man, i feel for you. I feel like my marriage is coming to an end & I'm shitting myself.

I moved to a different country, no support network, no friends or family. I been a house husband essentially (she has a £100kpa job, so decided I'd take care of kids/house etc) so no job, the house is in her name despite it being both our money that bought house (i actually put in a further £50k).

If we do break up I really don't know what I'll do.

I'm currently at my parents as i was asked to leave & refle t on marriage issues & how we can fix it. But shes so inflexible, its hard to see a resolution that isn't completely & utterly me making all the concessions, tbf i haven't asked her to make any changes, shes asking me.

Being taken in by a friend when your whole life just got condensed into boxes is humiliating in a way that's hard to explain and that sick feeling every day makes sense when everything you built just got erased overnight.

The fact that you have a buddy who stepped up matters more than it probably feels like right now, and you don't have to have this figured out yet.

Imagine a really bad earthquake has shaken a city to its core. Imagine a building you care about has been flattened because of it.

Now starts the cleanup operation, every breeze block, bit of pipe, electricals etc, to be picked up and taken away. Such a daunting task that seems never ending.

After enough time has passed, it'll be flat ground and there'll be nothing to pick up anymore.

Then you can build something better, stronger and more pleasing on it.

You can even use the same blocks if you like.

It may not seem like it now, but you've got this, trust me you've got this.
