So, I (33 M) have been posting on here a little while now. But I have a question, not about what I should do but for other people's experiences of this.

In short, my wife (30 F) asked for a separation three weeks ago. I did the begging and pleading, I did the denial and I have moved past the anger stuff (as always, some better than others in that system).

However, I was under the impression she just felt that we were growing apart (even though we were still going out and making love for an hour or two at a time within the same week) but this has kinda changed today.

I think she is going to declare her love for another woman at some point soon. She has always had a kink in the bedroom for that, but never expressed a desire to fulfil it, only talk about it or watch lesbian porn.

She told me months ago about these feelings but I don't think she is aware that I clocked something in her search history (when we were talking about houses and selling our current house, another story for another day) about discerning whether you have feelings for a same-sex friend and how to write a love letter. She used to write them to me, so I can take it as a romantic thing she puts currency in and can safely assume that it is for that person, not me.

I have seen comments asking me to file for divorce first, walk away etc. but here's the thing, I have two kids with her, love her to bits and all I want to do is support her. Yes I would like to stay with her, if she makes this declaration and it fails I would hope she would talk to me, but most of all I just want to make sure that she is okay. Has anyone experienced anything quite like this?

In addition to this, please don't pile hate on me for her feeling this way. I understand that there are probably lots of reasons for this action, but ultimately I just don't want to see her hurt, even if she isn't wanting to be with me at present. I will always want to fix our marriage, but if I have to do something about this, that is fine and I will review the goings-on later down the line.

TL:DR asked for separation 3 weeks ago, worried that she is about to declare her love for a female friend. Obviously if reciprocated this causes more problems but I just want to help.
