Does it ever get any easier? Like I see her and my kids living a wonderful life. She has a boyfriend living with her. They all have fun together, and go out and enjoy life. All they seemed to need was just removing me.

It's been almost a year since I moved out. My story is a long one, but we were live in seperated for more than three years. So almost four or five years at this point broken up. It wasnt ugly, it was sad mostly.

It seems like I am just more bitter and jaded as time goes on, and stuck with the pains of missing something that just works better without me. Meanwhile I am struggling and can not enjoy anything. I feel like I am just surrounded by the ghosts of the past and the what ifs.

So. How does one comeback from it? The fact that your family just functions better without you? I want to be happy for them. I am really. My kids do fun things, and she seems like she has found happiness.

And I want it to stop making me sad and the rage that comes. They say if gets better over time, but I feel like I am just slipping more and more.
