Long story short, my wife has been talked into an extremely high conflict divorce by her lawyers and intransigent family members. There is virtually no way this doesn't go to court so she can "get what she deserves," never mind the fact that she is spending six figures of her kids' nest egg on her lawyers, child custody evaluators, etc. I guess the money is easy come, easy go when you were never the one to create it.

I have substantial net worth ($2.5M between two houses, retirement accounts, cash accounts, cars, etc.). I alone carry the mortgage on the marital house and want to keep it because I can keep the mortgage rate of 2.75%. She can't.

Wanting to hear some court experiences; trying to determine the chances the judge will force me to sell the house and give up this once in a lifetime mortgage rate. Wife doesn't understand and doesn't care the financial harm this will do to me. She just wants things to be painful.
