Hello! Thanks for asking! Different just being out with another woman. Not gonna lie, I felt like I was cheating or something, which felt a big odd at first but I got over it and was like well we are just friends meeting up for the first time even though we’ve texted a lot lately, we are just hanging out. We took a ride and ended up grabbing some dinner at a local brewery. I wish I would have planned something better and looked for what was open on Sunday nights. She doesn’t drink so we stuck to sodas. I started a tab for the drinks and food order and she asked the bartender to put it on a separate tab? I was like no I got dinner, you drove. She ended up going up and paying the whole tab after. She said well you can pay next time. I thanked her but still felt bad about it. Conversation never ended. We talked the whole time and then left and she dropped me off at home and I wasn’t sure if I should invite her in or not. She kinda seemed like she needed to get home cuz she was taking about the big day planned with her family Monday or maybe felt pressure to come in and hang out. We ended up talking for another 2 hours in the car. It was almost midnight and I was like crap I have to work early this morning and should probably go. I ask if I could give her a hug and thanked her for everything. She gave me a long hug and kinda rubbed my back and held my shoulder after. I think it ended well and I had a great time. I still felt a bit self conscious (which I don’t get very often and feel comfortable around everyone)and at the same time very relaxed with her. I texted her today and thanked her again. So now I need to redeem myself a bit and plan a better night out next time.
