True story. Sat with my x4 friends at a restaurant bar, as we do weekly, I happened to be sitting next to a female — most of us are in some phase of a divorce. We go out, talk about it, support each other, enjoy the food and company.

I then spotted a friend of my STBXW and did my best to hide my face. This likely made it worse because that’s exactly what happened, I was made. Photos were taken, confronted, the friend said something nasty to me and then to the female next to me, stormed out. The bartender/server were perplexed. It was all surreal. What happened next is predictable… photos were obviously sent to STBXW but ALSO to my daughter who wrote me a letter calling me a terrible person, cheater, etc. Everyone is jumping to all the conclusions. My lawyer says she is not “concerned from a legal perspective”. Feeling kinda numb to it all these days as I mentally deal with it so nothing surprises me or makes me react too much.

Meet me at Starbucks on Tues mornings and you’ll find me with a different group of friends. This is healthy, seeing people, not sitting in your house wallowing in sorrow.

I’ll respond to my daughter as best I can. Sep Agreement still being drafted and likely will change because of this — in her favor, costing everyone more money.

Any thoughts?
