I am a divorced dad who has custody Saturday evening to Tuesday morning. I am looking to change careers after 25 years in a kitchen. I am looking to get into hvac. I am doing this to spend more time with my son. As a executive chef I work all the time. I will be earning half of what I make as chef for the first two year as apprentice. I have tried to get a student loan but since I have been earning a ok salary the last 5 years I am unable to get a loan. I did not want to waste money on a lawyer be told that my child support will stay the same. I am looking to have child support reduced for 1 year so I can survive. I am also reaching out to see if anyone will hire me as a hvac apprentice. I have handed in 48 resume and have had 1 interview.and if this against the rules I am sorry . I am at the end of my rope. I lost my home that i paid with my inheritance and $150000 for alimony when she was working under the table the whole time.
