I have been separated for over 18 months. The ex had an affair and is dragging her feet about the divorce. She has a history of making unilateral decisions for our son without even discussing them with me.

The courts have finally gotten around to assigned custody mediation which happens today.

I can't believe anything of value will come out of it since my ex refuses to communication as soon as any facts are introduced that are contrary to her beliefs about the situation.

Any tips on how to act and speak today in the mediation? I'm a very calm, cool and collected individual. I have been involved in a handful of legal proceedings so I understand how to interact with lawyers and judges.
