Ironically, this happened on her birthday. This has been a 9 month process. No kids. I have a home that is a pre-marital asset, and our 401Ks.... yet, it made it all the way to trial.

I will have to buy her out on a portion of the equity which wasn't as bad as I thought it would be due to her offset with her 401k contributions.

She will be receiving much less than she expected.

9 months in, 8 months since she left, I have been complete no-contact since.

I have a new intense wave of sadness today. It feels weird that it is now official.
