Hey, high conflict case here. Question at the end here's a little context.

I'm 2 separated and 2 weeks without seeing the kids, well I saw them twice over video call, and the 2.5yo girl who talks could identify I was calling from home and asked to go home, and asked me for my hug. I have to figure out my housing situation asap before I can mess with temporary custody, I have where to live and host the kids for at least 3 weeks, and after that it is a bit uncertain atm. I'm not an unfit dad. Comunication is getting stalled, I'm being denied seeing my children withou a clear no, but i offered schedule, I offer them to just tell me whatever works for them, nothing happenw... Kids were taken by mom and all them are living at my ex (or stbx idk) families house. 10 minutes drive.

Is it a bad idea do just drive up there and knock on the door and just ask to see the kids and play for a few minutes in the front yard?

I just wanted to give them a hug and say that I love them until the temporary custody can be solved. I don't want a fight, I don't want altercation, I'm thinking of asking my neighbor to go with me and be the cameraman. Do I text stbx ex-bil saying that I'm heading over there?
