My wife (36f) and I (40m) are smack dab in the middle of the process of getting divorced. Our financial situation is not great currently, and I know I'll have to pay child support and potentially alimony when this is all over. We've already submitted financial info for the financial disclosure/discovery process. I started looking for some freelance work in addition to my main job to save up a little cash for us and make sure I have extra income for after the divorce to afford child support. I didn't expect to find work so soon. In addition, I've started donating plasma.

My question is, if I take these gigs at this process I'm the divorce will it up what I have to pay in child support/alimony? Should I have waited till the process is over? These are irregular gigs and not guaranteed.
