This is... just frustrating. My STBX originally told me I could stay in the house for a year after the divorce to save up and buy out her equity.

She re-negged and said I have to either buy her out now for 80k or sell the house.

I'd get over it more easily if she wasn't supposed to be providing a home that supports my son, including child support or that I would hope she could use her money to help pay for his college or build some intergenerational wealth.

She's already in an apartment and I don't think she is going to be trying to buy a house with this money (which I wish she would)

Before the split, she was talking about a business venture. (In fact she has already been funneling money to her overseas affair partner for this)

She intends to buy bath and bodywork lotions, ship them to a developing country where the GDP per capita is $2,000, and then sell the body lotion at a high enough markup to turn a profit. She's been going to the store multiple times a week.

I can't even.

She is trying to kick me out of our house for this, she is throwing out money that could easily support our son for this. She will assuredly not listen to a word I say on the matter. She's already previously thrown 15k at a beauty salon in the same country and it never got built. She has sent 30k to that fucking country and will probably send every dime she gets out of the settlement because she wants to have her own business.
