Her lawyer sent Interrogatories for the discovery. Most questions are financial as they should be. but other are really Odd and I am not sure why her lawyer is asking that and what he want to prove/show.

Anyone can read through the lines?

  • Question 1, 2, 3 I am really confused about the purpose.
  • Questions 4 and 5, not sure how to answer, my expenses went crazy and mostly from borrowed money.
  • Question 6, I do not want to provide this information to her lawyer. It feels like shooting myself in the foot if I do.

3 --- If you contest \******* present custody request, please set forth each and every reason therefor.*

4 --- If you are in need of spousal support, describe why you are unable to support yourself financially.

5 --- Regarding the foregoing interrogatory, indicate whether your future expenses are expected to differ from those provided in the foregoing interrogatory. If the expenses are expected to be different, provide the amounts that will differ and a detailed amount for the difference.

6 --- For each exhibit and evidence pertaining to this action that you intend to use at trial or hearing, describe the category of an item of evidence/exhibit (e.g. documents, recorded statements, e-mails, etc.); the location of the exhibit; the name, address. and phone number of the person in possession of evidence/exhibit; the contents of the exhibit, verbatim; the issue(s) before the court to which this exhibit pertains; and the fact and/or allegation you believe this item will prove or disprove.
